Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered a different brand in a jar that arrived damaged. This one arrived perfectly! The product was excellent and very well packaged. I would definitely order again.

Great Flavor, Consistency, Easy to Use
Having a restricted diet due to IBS that means you can't use many flavorful items like garlic, hot sauce, onions, etc.This soybean product delivers on flavor whether I'm adding it to soup and stews made with poultry.As a fermented product, it has a sour taste, but one that I don't find overpowering. I recently tried it on buckwheat toast with melted cheddar cheese and it was delicious. I love this product so much that I get a couple of them every month. The added benefit they have is as a fermented product they have probiotics that help your gut health.

Very tasty
I like this,very tasty. I've tried this with several foods,a hamburger, veggie noodle bowl. The heat value for me is a 2 out of 5. I would probably buy this again as its reasonably priced!!

color and saltiness were little light
This doenjang is okay. i was expecting something little darker and saltier. Since I am Korean, I though I know what what to expect. but this is lighter in color and also lighter in saltiness. When I saw the review pictures, it looked like what I was expecting. However, it wasn't. that is only one reason I took out 1 star. but it was decent taste but next time i might search for darker version.

Kind of like miso except a bit stronger taste and yummy in ramen or with meat, tofu and vegtables.
