They work as intended and are pretty strong. Some of the other reviewers complained of the doublesided tape ruining their walls and yes they will. Its only common sense these hangers come with very high quality double sided tape that more than likely will be hard to remove without damaging unless you are very carefull. If one would try a heat gun and a scraper it might come off easy.

I purchased these to help organize my recording studio. I have one mounted on each side of my primary workstation. They have stayed in place and keep my headphones out of the way until I need them. 'Much better than leaving the on my keyboards.

It didn't adhere to my desk with the sticky adhesion well. I opted to use the screws and that worked out well for me
