Connects without having to disconnect electrical connects to UNIT UNDER TEST.
Liked the hinged split core. Easy to clamp around the power lead wire.

1000:1 current transformer much easier to install
Although my volt/amp/watt/KWH meter module came with a 1000:1 current transformer, it would have been very difficult to disconnect one of the #4 gauge wires to my HVAC unit to install it. This transformer just snaps around the wire and job done. The plastic case is substantially larger than the other current transformer but fortunately there was plenty of space in the breaker box to install it.

Supposed to have a burden resistor, neither one did.
Can't give it zero stars. I have two of these PZCT-02. It is marked indicating a 10 ohm burden resistor. I get 55 ohms across the leads. Clamping it around a cord powering a 100W 120V incandescent bulb I get nearly 6v. If you use the typical conditioning circuit for use with a arduino or esp32 you are likely going to smoke things. I bought these back in March of 2023 before I retired and just got around to trying them out. I guess I can put my own burden resistor on this and salvage the purchase but I shouldn't have had to.

It doesn't fit
The verniers says my service lines are a shade under 16mm. The blurb says the hole is 16mm. It isn't. It's smaller. It won't fit around my service line.
