Upon receiving this lighter, the packaging and presentation was fantastic! The weight and balance really felt good in my hand. This would make a great gift the way it looked in the box!After fully filling and using a few times the lighting was intermittent. It was like the gas was not always getting out to be lit. I would turn the dial on the bottom to increase the flow and about set my house on fire!! JKWhen it works, it works GREAT. It just gets a little frustrating having to click so many times.

Although if turned high enough the one reviewer was right it can go into a pretty extreme flame but most "flame" tourches do. You have to start at turned all the way down and slowly increase to you desired flame size.. yes be careful if you forget to turn it down after you refill it. I love how easy it is to use the flea adjuster has been a great sell point for me as I have terrible arthritis and hard for me to adjust, bur this touch makes it simple, the head pivots which is awesome and there is a lock on feature. I say 2 thumbs up.

It fell apart after 3 months of minimal use maybe 20 uses not long after refilling it on its second tank of butane. Now you have to hold the top on while you tap the bottom on a hard surface then slowly push the button so the gas come before the spark you hopefully get or you have to shake it up and start over so the quality materials (the ones that refuse to stay together) used can find that sweet spot (there original places). Also the angle adjustment is awsome if you never use it other wise it gets stuck and then you almost break the fuel line and/or igniter wire when you pop the top off trying to. Was pretty cool outa the box tho its once I held it in my own hands I relised what was ment by what a cheap piece of ****. But maybe just maybe there hand built and some things where left undone or uninstalled and it's just this alone that I bought.

1 out of 25 strikes on average to get a flame …loads of cheap plastic all around …go to 7-11 and get those crappy $1 lighters at the front counter … they're better than this.

I thought simple, easy, controllable and very fun.

When it lit, it was great. After using it only a few times, the torch failed to ignite.To use the torch now, we are forced to light it with an external source.

After filling butane per instructions, this unit will light, but after a few hours it will not light. This has occurred repeatedly.
