Bosch 00618624 Range Spark Module Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part

Our Thermador range had one oven that stopped igniting- swapped igniters with the smaller oven and no joy... Did some research and came across this module. Swapped it out in less than 5 minutes and bingo!Product is a very close match in form as the original. The only difference I can see is the spade terminal on this unit is vertical (not bent) and the original had a 90 degree bend. Also came with a cover which i did not install as the original did not have one either.Price was well in line with what I was seeing on other online retailers and I got it in 2 days with Prime shipping.If your oven is not working and you have checked the igniter and you do not hear a clicking sound coming from under one of the stove top burners- it's more than likely this igniter module. Verify which module it is by disconnecting one of them from power and spark and turn one of them on. Wait to see if you hear one of the ovens trying to light- this will tell you if you have the right one disconnected or not. Save yourself a ton of money from a repair company and replace it yourself, it's really not that hard and I'm sure there are several videos on YouTube on how to do it. Before you put it all back together, test it to make sure it is functioning properly- nothing worse than doing work and thinking you're done and you're not.Lastly if you are like us- when you take it apart to replace the module, it's a great time to clean your burner pans... just sayin'. The fist one I ordered did not work correctly and would ignite intermittently. It had to be replaced with a second one that has worked perfectly. Great replacement to my thermador gas range.

Product is great except the cover that came with it. When installed it arks when oven tried to light. Way to dangerous so we didn’t put the cover on.

My Thermador Professional model #PGR486GLZS/04 main oven would not heat-up. All stove burners, broiler, and 2nd oven all working perfectly. Tested oven igniter, thermostat sensor, and high temp shut off sensor for continuity and all good. No fried wires anywhere I could find either. Next in line was the spark module or the control board (both expensive parts!) which you can't test. I purchased the spark module and installed it in less than 15 minutes and it fixed the issue. Note: I did not install the metal cover provided with the module since my factory module did not have a cover on it.Only problem is that the igniter wire connection sticks strait out of the new spark module and interferes with the vented back cover main panel. Instead of bending the connection flat and risking breaking the connection tab, I decided to modify my cover by cutting a hole for the wire to clear the panel once installed.

Did not use the shield but there wasn't one there before. Solved my problem of oven not igniting and saved me hundreds or thousands of $$$ by not having to call a service person or replacing the range!!
