Dark Chocolate Absolute Black 100% Cocoa 90g (Pack of 3)

I got this for my son as a Christmas gift. He had me try it and even though I prefer a sweetened dark chocolate it was shockingly tasty. The nutty flavor makes up for the lack of sugar. I still would not prefer it over a sweetened dark chocolate. However, it was exactly what my son wanted and he thoroughly enjoyed eating and sharing it with anyone who was willing to try it. I will buy again as a gift for my son. If you know if anyone who loves unsweetened chocolate, this is the one you want to get for them!

I love this. My wife does not because there is no sugar. But it is very low in cadmium and contaminants, and it is pure cacao. Yes, it is slightly tart, but it is the purest and healthiest way to get cacao. I have one little square a day.

It takes a certain person to eat this type of chocolate. Evidently, I wasn't that certain person. I bought it because, I choose this dark chocolate with a minimum of 70% cocoa to get the most flavonoids and this had more. Flavonoids is suppose to help with ED. Flavonoids turn into nitric oxide and in which helps better blood flow to the penis. Sadly to say, I had to spit it out. Very bitter and bland!! Guess I'm used to Hershey's dark chocolate. Each their own.

Sugarless great dark chocolate I like to eat a a treat and alternate with dried dates teasing taste buds from bitter to sweet. Chocolate University mentions and favors this chocolate. It's hard to find 100% dark chocolate with no sugar added in stores. I'm grateful Amazon sells it.

Montezumas Dark Chocolate Absolute Black - 100% Cocoa. Consumer Labs rated it so much higher than any other. They found that each gram contains 14 mg of flavanols - the highest of any bar they tested - and just 0.06 mcg of cadmium, which was one of the lowest levels. Montezuma's, which is from England, is a bit pricey but, in terms of getting flavanols, it's among the lowest cost bars. It is unbelievably mellow and so tasty. Even though shipped from England it arrived in a couple of weeks, in perfect condition, and in the middle of summer in the Midwest. If I could use more stars than 5 I would. The expiration date was 8 months out but believe me it will be gone long before that.

Like some of the five star reviews have detailed, this is probably the healthiest chocolate out there. I was tested for heavy metals and discovered I was very high in cadmium and the only source of it in my life was the baker's chocolate I was eating a lot of as I thought that was healthiest for me. Lot of these "healthy" choices tend to have a hidden time bomb in them we are discovering. This chocolate is rated lowest in cadmium. Not half as good a baker's chocolate which you know is quite bitter. Oh well. I'm sticking to this brand as I do like chocolate and need to get my cadmium levels down..

This 3 pack is a great flavor at a great price on sale. Not overly bitter and has that cocoa butter snap. I will either eat these straight to reduce sugar (even alternative sweeteners may raise insulin), use in recipes, or melt and add my own sweetener alternative. These are around 3 ounces so be sure you are comparing properly to the the typical 1.7 ounce bar if you are price conscious. Also, my order came with a sticker that stated they use European date syling that reverses the day and month. This can throw people if they think expiration has already passed. I kept one bar out and vacuum sealed the other two for later.
