Delicious! Don't knock it till you try it!
This spaghetti is really delicious. I make it as a part of my Japanese bento lunch every day for work. I simply add a little white truffle oil, parmesan cheese, and some black pepper, it's perfecto. Some people see it in my lunch, ask about it, and when I tell them, they (at first) cringe at the thought of 'Oh! Spaghetti made with the ink of squid? Eww!'. Nah, squid ink is basically like a natural dye and contains melanin, an antitoxin that's good for the immune system, improves blood pressure, and it's full of iron. So, don't knock it till you try it.

It looks interesting but tastes like normal spaghetti
This just came in the mail today and I wanted to try it. I've seen some photos of other kinds that weren't that dark, this is a very dark black color. It looks pretty cool, and as far as I can tell, that's the main reason to buy this.I like squid and I've bought squid jerky from Amazon before, but I didn't really know what the ink was supposed to taste like. I think it mainly just adds an interesting color. It tasted a bit salty, and I've seen the pasta described as salty elsewhere, but I didn't taste any sort of fishy flavor. It was very much like regular spaghetti.I cooked this al dente and made a white wine sauce and also cooked scallops and medium shrimp. It was very tasty and would be interesting to serve to guests or on a special occasion for the different appearance. It may be worth buying just for the novelty of it. I'm not sure what kind of flavor the jars of squid ink have, or if their flavor is more distinctive, because I haven't tried those;

Hint of Fishy Taste
I just made these and I'm currently eating them while I write this review. The instructions are in italian so I decided to wing it. I boiled them for 10 minutes and I think that was perfect. I only topped with butter and olive oil so I could get the full taste of the noodle. It definitely has a fishy taste to it. They aren't bad!

Delicious Spaghetti
First time I tried this and it was amazing, and so healthy! Served it with mussels in a tomato wine sauce. Will definitely buy it again.

Best flavor
It is very hard to find Italian Black (Squid) pasta where I live and when you really want some, I can't drive to NY when I want some. This is great pasta.
