RYC Automotive Air Conditioning Compressor and A/C Clutch GG561

This compressor fit my Trailbazer and works well. It would have been excellent had I not dropped a seal which meant I had to do it twice. It been working great for 3 weeks.

As a female, you never know if car/auto parts are the right parts if you don’t know a lot repairing cars/auto, especially if you never to took auto shop and/or a ASE mechanic, but I have faithfully used Amazon for cheaper auto parts and have overwhelming received the right parts that truly fit based on their matchup screener for auto/cars and their parts. My only issue is that it was missing the top bolt. My mechanic had to razzle dazzle it. Overall, worth the money.

Revised 7 months later.The compressor worked well for the first few months, then winter set in and ac wasn't needed. When things warmed up this spring the compressor does not work. There is power going to the connector for the clutch but it won't engage. It has a six month warranty and failed at about seven months. Now I get to do the job again.Packaging was very poor. The compressor was in a cardboard box of proper size and strength but the compressor was not supported or protected from impact inside the box. There was a small amount of bubble wrap but not enough to keep it from flopping around in the box. Fortunately the unit didn't take a hit on the clutch, or at least not a hit large enough to alter the air gap or damage the seal. The compressor was a pain to install, but that is GM'S fault. Two weeks after install it is still working well and AC system has been keeping up with ambient temperature in high 90's with high humidity. Pressures are good and no sign of leakage from the compressor. Would have rated it higher had the packaging been decent since I am still concerned about potential damage because of the condition of the box and lack of protection for the actual component.

I couldn’t be happier. This part was not perfectly identical to my oem, there was a difference in design for the AC lines connection port but after picking up an AC valve gasket kit and finagling a bolt, it fit nicely and fixed my AC. 2 months later it’s still blowing cold

As of right now, it's perfect. Mechanic installed with zero issues and works great!
