Surface Dock with HDMI Adaptor for Microsoft Surface Pro 6, Pro (2017), Pro 4 and Pro 3

I bought this item thinking I would save money by not paying for the Microsoft Surface Pro docking station however that was a mistake. Out of the box I was having trouble with extending my Surface Pro to a 2nd screen using the HDMI adapter. At first my 2nd monitor would randomly go black for a second and work fine but now it does not work at all. The HDMI adapter is a piece of junk and since the docking station itself does not have an HDMI port or a Mini DisplayPort, I am left without being able to use a 2nd monitor without buying a new adapter, which defeats the whole purpose of trying to save money on this product. There is also no way to contact manufacturer since it arrived in a plain box and user manual does not have any telephone number, email address or even physical address listed. Would NOT recommend!

Surface pro becomes a portable office. I can work from anywhere.Minor issue. You need a separate keyboard. More positive then negatives

Even though the description says it works with Surface Pro 6 is does not. It will not power or charge the 6. I confirmed this with Amazon tech support who told me they had other reports from other customers stating the same thing. I would hope they would update the description as it is misleading. Had to return mine and order a proper Microsoft dock for the 6.

Bought this last December and I’m barely opening and using it now (I just came from a military training). I was excited to use it but nothing works. It’s not even recognized by any computer and laptop. And it’s too late to request for a refund and I don’t see any option to contact the seller. Complete garbage and a scam to steal customers’ money.

The product work perfectly well at the beginning but one day it stop charging the surface and didn't work anymore.
