I was so excited and bought 2 of the 8” tapes and it’s dispenser, but the tape was so thin and it tears easily! Yet the dispenser does not hold the tape well, the tape keeps falling out of it and eventually it sticks everywhere ruining the tape and the box/boxes. Even two people trying to help each other put this tape on to seal a box properly doesn’t work, it gets messy. Such a waste of so much money.It may have worked for others and I thought it would work for us too. I was looking for a wider tape and found this, thought I hit the jackpot but it’s too thin. Then the dispenser’s blade does’t really cut it off easily either. I have to press my fingers unto it to let it cut but then it tears up unevenly.Idk if I can return this, I’ll probably try to return the dispenser and one of the tape I haven’t opened or used. I hope they improve the dispenser so the tape wouldn’t keep wobbling or falling out of it.Edit: Added 3 stars. Decided to keep it but it takes a lot of practice and a lot of the tape wasted, eventually was able to wrap tape around two huge boxes we shipped out to another country. Was hoping it will help prevent thieves from cutting the boxes open with all the tape wrapped around it. It is thin & easy to break, had to use a strong filament duct tape to add with strength to cover openings and corners before using this tape again over it. Since Christmas is around the corner, we might use this tape to wrap larger presents. Hopefully they make the tapes more stronger and not tearing up easily and waste so much tape.

I had high hopes for this tape to go along with the 6" dispenser but that tape quality is terrible. It tears constantly forcing you to spend time looking for the end to start anew. If you are lucky enough to find the end and get the roll going again, it soon tears again. The dispenser is okay but without decent 6" tape it us useless.

I have used wide clear packing tape for years as a thin, durable lamination for custom information wallet cards, book binding reinforcement and general fabrication needs. This is a serious roll of tape! I have laminated several medium size Field Book note pads and this is really good tape. It is right up there with 3m Scotch brand clear packing tape. Just make sure to store it in a decent climate controlled environment like all wide clear tape or the roll will warp and bulge. 10 out of 10, will buy again!

I needed to cover a large area nd this worked great

I’ve owned 4” wide tape (with a 3” interior roll diameter) for decades, and normally the rolls of tape fit easily onto the rollers, but not this one. It was such a tight fit that even tapping heavily on it didn’t allow it to slide on. In the end, I took some coarse sandpaper and sanded the inside of the cardboard roll to remove some of the cardboard, then applied some wax lubricant, and finally got it on there. It nearly broke the rollers, which is why I went through hoops to get it to go on more easily. Aside from that, it seems to be decent tape.

The tape didn’t disappoint.Size is true to advertised and durability is great.Heavy duty, strong and extremely adhesive.Very pleased with the product.

It’s sticky and wide as described, however it has an annoying tendency to rip whilst trying to wind a piece out to tear, like tinfoil does. I then have to spend ages tracing the rip to start again. Not buying again!

Stickers never stick to plastic well if at all!!! I used this tape to secure all the labels on our plastic bins. It works super well, looks good, and is wide enough to cover the whole label. Very pleased.

Le produit est arrivé cassé, et impossible de le renvoyer car il fallait aller à 40km pour le déposer dans un relais colis d'une marque que je ne connaissais même pas. Dommage car j'avais bien besoin d'un dérouleur pour le scotch marron à cartons et celui-ci aurait été parfait. Quand on voit le prix payé, c'est totalement scandaleux.
