Low Price And It Works
Had an issue with the radiator overflow tank bubbling, as if the engine was running hot. However, the temp gauge showed normal temperature. I replaced the thermostat, but the issue persisted, so, I decided to replace the coolant sensor...that solved the issue. Apparently, the circuit for the sensor works in conjunction with the auxiliary electric cooling fan. As the coolant temperature rises above a set temperature, the auxiliary fan is supposed to kick in, but not if it's receiving a bad signal from the sensor. Anyway, this sensor works, was about $20.00 cheaper than at the local auto part store and gave me peace of mind because at first, I was worry my car had a blown head gasket.

Accidently broke old one
As I finished replacing all my intake gaskets, I accidently broke the connector off my old ECT putting it back on. Being on the top, front of the engine of my 4.7l 01 Dakota, it was SUPER easy to R&R it. I guess I need to stop trying to Superman everything back together. Lois was NOT happy her truck was down for 3 more days before this was delivered. Man of Steel has nothing on a woman's scorn. Ammirite?

Junk junk junk
Junk junk junkI bought this October 1st put it in my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ when I did my thermostat and thermostat housing shortly after I started getting a check engine light with p0128 engine coolant temperature below normal operating condition. So wasn't quite sure what the problem was since this part was brand new sent it to a shop told them that I replaced these brand new parts so they started looking in other areas in the end it cost me almost $800 and diagnostic fees and fix in a few found loose or broken wires thinking this would solve the problem and each time it didn't. Went to all those own and bought an OEM door last and after 2 minutes of being installed it works perfectly. This one runs about 20° below operating temperature.
