Works well. Use a M25 x 1.5 5mm cable gland with it.
Keeps the Ethernet cable nice and tidy inside, and protects the connection from rain. The recommended cable gland is an M25 x 1.5 size that has a minimum cable diameter of 5mm, such as the Altech 5309 724. This is not available on Amazon, but you can find them at stores like Mouser and Digikey. CAT5 cable is around 5mm in diameter, and CAT6 is around 6mm, so a gland that clamps to 5mm will give you a nice tight seal. You don't need a cable gland if the cable can go out the back of the junction box (through the wall or ceiling it's mounted on); you only need it if the cable needs to come out the side or bottom.Be sure to use dielectric grease in the Ethernet jack to prevent it from corroding if any water does happen to get into the junction box. This product is exactly the same as Amcrest AMCPFA130-E, but cheaper.

Decent, well made box, wish it came with cable glands
This is a solid box for sure. It doesn't come with anything to feed the cables into the box to keep them waterproof. If you want to come in from the sides you'll need a 3/4in to 1/2inch reducer AND a pg13.5 cable gland. Cat6 cable wont be super snug so not entirely waterproof (but if you come in from the side water probably wont get in. Double-check that the mounting bracket (which attaches to this box) doesn't have a little notch for a CAT cable. This is the best way (and tighter) way to get your cable into the mount (it will be on top of the box, but all other slack from the camera go into the box (and not much different than come in through the side). This way you can avoid messing with the cable gland nonsense.

Makes for a proper install, EmpireTech is awesome
Well made and nicely done with gaskets and all assembly hardware/bolts for the camera base. Makes for a clean and proper install, and well, EmpireTech is truly a great seller. The pictures install is not how I'd usually mount this, but had to be due to access and wiring constraints.

Perfect fit where my old camera was mounted
I replaced an older Dahua IPC-HDW5231RP-Z camera with the updated Dahua/Loryta IPC-T5442T-ZE from Empire Tech. The old cam was mounted in a tight spot against a wall with no junction box and the cable connections out in the open, so this was a good opportunity to upgrade the mount and cable protection at the same time.I was happy to find that the PFA130-E junction box mounted in the same spot as the old cam, and the screw holes lined up with the holes from the old camera so I didn't need to drill any new holes. I had to rotate it so none of the feedthrough ports were against the wall or the holes didn't line up, but that was the only issue. It has plenty of room for the cables for the new cam, and doesn't add a lot of height to the setup.BTW, the IPC-T5442T-ZE is a great cam, and is a nice improvement over the older version in pretty much every way. As I replace the rest of the HDW5231RP cams, they'll go onto these junction boxes.

Works well
Used these boxes to 8MP Dahua turret cameras under soffits . Paint color is a very close match to the cameras. Comes with all the needed hardware--screws, wrench, plastic anchors, and a convenient sticker that makes it ease to drill the mounting holes. Took a bit of time to mount the first junction box/camera to get cables arranged and nicely tucked away; after that, installation of more cameras was a breeze.

Note: Conduit fittings are 3/4"
My old camera's were mounted to junction boxes with 1/2" fittings. These boxes are larger and have 3/4" fittings but also a TON of room to work with. It took me a moment to figure out how to wire it all into an existing location but once that headache was resolved installation was a breeze. Can't wait to get another to replace more reolink camera's to use with my Frigate+ setup.

Very solid box!
solid metal box, the screws are captive so you wont have to worry about dropping them. The lid has a safety cable so you can safely hang the camera while connecting wires.
