Perfect for me.
I already have a big, solid blender, but I needed something smaller to mix protein shakes and this blender is perfect for that. I like that the container is also a drinking cup. Less washing, less work, ok price, bpa free cup - for me a great product. It can be different for grinding harder ingredients, but I only mix powders in it so it should last me forever. Good thing it doesn't take up much space and it's not ugly at all like other similar blenders ;)

Works well.
Don't have a picture. but I honestly loved this blender, I also think it's easy to clean and easy to use. It blends my smoothies pretty good. I got the pink color and it's so cute. id give this a 8.5/10.

It'll work
I've used it twice. Very cheaply made but it works so far. I've blended frozen fruit with powder to make protein shakes. It chopped the fruit with no issue. Doubt I'd try to chop ice. The top is also made of really cheap plastic. It leaks a little around the top drink spout slide but nothing that impacts use.Not confident it will last but at this price point, you shouldn't expect a longlasting appliance. It's portable and lightweight.

I highly recommend….98% of complaints are user error!
The media could not be loaded. 98% of the videos I watched of ppl complaining abt this product were bc they weren’t using it correctly!! I honestly wish I could msg them & tell them that! First thing I saw, they were saying the cup wouldn’t stay in the base to blend. YOU HAVE TO TURN IT & LOCK IT INTO PLACE! There’s a pic of a lock & unlock on the bottom of the cup & u set it in on the unlock & turn it to lock. The 2nd one was saying the lid would just sit on top so liquid would leak out. No, the lid actually fits on very well, maybe a lil too well, & it’s hard to get on. U rly have to work at getting it on but once it’s on, it’s on, & it won’t leak! Then prob the most important one, YOU MUST ADD LIQUID TO BLEND IN THIS MACHINE!!! U can’t just add fruit or vegetables & expect it to blend without adding any liquid. That’s not how this one works. If that’s what ur looking for u need a veg chopper & not this. This is geared towards a smoothie maker! There is a minimum liquid marker at the bottom & u have to add at LEAST this amt of liquid to start with & ur prob going to need more! Also, blend in stages. Don’t cram the whole thing full to the top & again expect it to blend. Here I added almond milk, frozen bananas & blended it & then added the rest of my frozen fruit & MORE LIQUID, blended & ended up stirring some & added more liquid. U may have to stir it up a lil or if ur lid is on tight & correctly while it’s blending, u can tilt it to side to side, front to back, & get ur ingredients moved around. This is also made to pulse the products & run for short periods of time. One review said she ONLY ran hers for 10-15 min & didn’t know why it started smelling funny!! Umm hello! U can’t run this lil thing that long! It’s not made to go for 15min at a time. This is an amazing lil smoothie maker if u use it correctly. This is actually my 2nd one bc I lost my 1st one & had to repurchase another one. Again, don’t use it for anything ur not adding liquids to bc it won’t work. If ur just wanting something to chop fruit & vegetables then get one of those lil choppers for that. This won’t work. If ur looking for something to make smoothies, iced coffe, soups, or anything like that then I highly recommend this!!

Incredibly Efficient and Powerful Blender
This portable blender is a game-changer! The blades are incredibly efficient, and I’ve thrown just about anything and everything at it. Frozen fruits, ice, greens, dried chilis and it still blends everything smoothly without any issues. It’s compact, easy to use, and powerful for its size. Perfect for smoothies on the go or even mixing up quick shakes.

Handy, easy to use blender
Easy and convenient to use and not too big or too small. Makes great smoothies and blends ingredients well. Really like the size as it doesn't take much counter space. I use it often. If you order it in white you receive two mixing glasses.

four years, two down
I am getting myself the third one, within ~four years. First from 2012.12, second one 2015.06. Now it's 2017.02. Both time, got burnt motor after frequent/daily usage. First time, the plastic bottle also cracked and started a little leaking. I was pissed off that the motor on my second one burnt off again, lasting even shorter than the first one. But to be fair, I do use it almost every single morning for my green thickie. This Hamilton is definitely not the most powerful. By only crushing small ice-cubes and careful pulse motion with plenty liquid, handled by a very experienced user, the motor burns out every two years or so.Yet I keep coming back. Because it's cheap, does the job, easy to use and to clean. I've tried other two popular blenders from Amazon in the past (Ninja and Epica I believe), but no. At least for my purpose of making green thickie and occasional almond milk, this cheapest Hamilton Beach simply beats all the other cheap blenders so far. I like the design, large mouth for easy pouring-in of oats, liquid. It stands up instead of upside down which makes adding more greens or liquids while operating easier. Once I got the hang of it, it actually never spills, and only takes a rinse to clean. It's part of the reason my breakfast-in-a-rush stays the same thing for almost four years...It does have a burnt-chemical smell, especially when it's new. Mines don't have the smell anymore after several days usage. It does still smell if I venture to press it on hard ice or frozen fruit for too long (which I don't do very often, even though I do love banana-icecream. I can still make them but do have to remember to leave the frozen bananas out for 10min or so before crushing them, and even then, I need to be very patient). In hind sight, I could've gotten those three-year warranty back at the first purchase, probably saves some bucks. But what can I complain?! With $15*2 it has served me four years. That probably amounts to a thousand times usage! One star off for the burnt-chemical smell which I always somehow associate with potential cause of cancer, another for the very weak motor and the plastic build. But I do love it. Wonder how long the third one will last me. I really hope the company is not going further cheaper on the motor quality. That's a long hell of a review
