Very good traditional bow
A very light bow that is great for new archers. Made from laminated wood and some synthetic blackmaterial. Tends to vibrate a little but that's the nature of this style of bow. comfortable grip and a lineardraw, no stacking. I bought this for the wife to get into archery and she likes it.It is listed as the 25# version: at 28" draw it is 27# and at 30" draw it is 29#. So just a little high.Excellent value.

Fantastic little bow! Great for teens and shorter folks.
I bought this bow for teaching archery and it is perfect! It is great for people under 5'6" I'd say. I'm 5'8" and I can shoot it but it is maxing it out pretty hard, still, my shooting it doesn't seem to be hurting the bow and I love shooting it as a warmup before picking up my heavier bow.It fits very well in the hand, is light and nimble, fires arrows quickly and accurately.I recommend the MS Jummper 700 spine carbon arrows with this, they are a fast little arrow at a good price and pair well with this bow.

Unbelievable value. Great bow
This bow is exactly what I was looking for. It's small and light and at 30# draw easy to shoot a lot without wearing me out. The eoodbis beautiful and has a nice natural look. I was looking for an easy to carry, light simple now with no bells and whistles. They delivered with this bow. I'm getting older and my old 50# draw recurve was just too big, bulky and not fun to shoot more than six to twelve arrows. I can shoot this bow for hours. Very happy with this purchase.

Received a used bow and string!
The bow was scratched up right out of the box and the string was beat up and obviously used! The tiller was also way off! I ordered a 25 pound bow and fortunately I have an accurate scale. About the only thing correct with this bow was the draw weight. At 28” it was just under 25 pounds which was close enough. The weird part is there were NO MARKINGS of any kind! No company logo, no model info, and no draw weight marked anywhere on the bow! With the scratches and no markings of any kind it looked like a bow that was made in someone’s basement, and not made very well in that basement! Fortunately Amazon made returning it for a full refund as easy as possible.

Incredible value
This bow is being used for larp dueling in the park. 25lb is ample speed to send arrows at your your target quickly and accurately. I had tons of fun with it, the string is fine, the presumably fake hair-rest looks decent and I appreciate that it was included, if you are considering this bow, highly recommend it for larping or backyard target shooting.

An attractive traditional bow- but watch the draw weight
A well made, well thought out bow. The design reminds me of several youth bows I’ve seen, starting with the 1970s-era Bear Cub. The choice of woods is attractive and the rest is nicely crowned. It’s advertised as coming with a stick-hair rest, but that was missing from mine. I used a Bear hair rest I had on hand (see photo) with a 1/8” strip of leather behind it. This provides a single point of contact that allows better arrow flight. This, I think, an excellent choice for a young teen or small adult looking for a traditional bow to learn on. I’d recommend the 20# weight for beginners of any age. It comes with a very nice bow stringer, and I suggest you use it whenever you string or unstrung the bow. While it’s possible to do this without a stringer, the chance of twisting the limbs and ruining the bow is very high if you do it that way. You’ll also need arrows, and for a shooting off the shelf, that means using arrows fletched with feathers. You can use the cheap beginner arrows found in department stores, but if you’re serious about archery I suggest buying a set of Easton Jazz, which can be found at your local shop or various on-line suppliers for around $35/6 plus shipping, or an inexpensive carbon arrow. Last, you’ll need a basic archery tab or glove, to protect your fingers from the string ($10-20) and an arm protector ($10) to protect your arm from string slap while you’re learning to hold the bow.One point to consider: My bow was marked as 20# draw, which I assumed was measured at 28”, the industry standard. But when I measured it, it was closer to 26# at that draw. It turns out that traditional youth bows, like the Bear Cub, were typically weighed at a 24” draw, and that’s how they were marked, e.g., 20#@24”. The makers of this bow have copied some of the classic American designs, but they don’t mark the length. Keep that in mind when you're shopping for a sub-60” lightweight bow.

Good value beginner bow.
I bought the bow, took it to the archery shop, had some arrows cut, installed a felt rest and installed a nocking point. I bought the 20# version. It is made for women/kids. It worked well, looks nice and should be good enough for a person to get started in archery.

Great Bow!
A great bow, especially for the price. Unlike most authentic longbows, this has a cutaway shelf like most modern recurve risers. We bought this bow in 35# for my wife to begin archery and for me to begin again, as it's been a long, long time. This has turned out to be a great bow for us and great fun to enjoy a common hobby together. Now that we're hooked, we plan to upgrade to other bows as our skills improve. We're using feather fletched 30", 600 spine arrows with 100 grain field points and they're perfect for this bow.
