Watercolour Landscapes [With Six Reusable Tracings]

I didn't find the description of how to do the painting was as good as another book I have used. Bit disappointed but still usable. You have to know what you are doing first before using this book.

This is a great book! Very informative and such lovely projects.

I am a complete beginner to watercolour painting. I bought this book as another aid to help me learn about the subject. The book contains pull out tracings which measure 40cm x 29cm approximately. There is also a step by step guide for 5 of the 6 tracings included. There is also a brief introductory section regarding paint, paper and brushes. The author had developed a range of brushes and a selection of paints that are used throughout the book this would require a further investment in materials if you were to follow the book exactly. Overall I am pleased with the book, I have not bought the authors brushes or paints but still managed to produce a reasonable painting. I use the book in conjunction with episodes from the TV channel which makes following the steps a lot easier.
