Excellent book on the making of this revolutionary film. Highly recommend it.

Mentioned by others not much in the way of pictures.It would have been nice to see concepts brought to life.The text is what matters in non official making and here its great.Print is well set out with clear bold print of a good size.Well done to the author.Tron was a real one of kind film;this helps show just how difficult the film was to make.Up there in style with 2001 in terms of breakthrough film making.Disney stuck by the film with real commitment.A lesson for all the play it safe sci fi sausaged out we get fed these days. it really is well worth buying.Quick delivery from Amazon.

Useful, though a bit dry in the early sections. A lot of ground covered well though. Would recommend for FX enthusiasts.

Excellent purchase for any Tron fans

First off: this is a self-published book and has black-and-white pictures only but don't let that put you off. This has to be THE most comprehensive account of the making of the film, through Lisberger and his initial concepts, through Disney becoming interested, through pre-production, post and release, and the internal politics of Disney at the time. It has input from practically EVERYONE: actors, technicians, producers, studio execs. It's fascinating. A treasure trove of detail. Get it.

Originally brought this book, as a present, from reviews. Unfortunately it's not as I hoped as its more text than graphic illustration. I was expecting more graphic images.
