It's nice to have all the album's plus a couple of music videos in one box. Nicely presented with a book full of photos. It could have had more written information on the band and the album's, but hey ho. The extra disc with rarities is quite interesting but nothing earth shattering. My one complaint is the price, it's quite expensive for what it is, but as they say, "you pay your money and you take your choice"

Excellent compilation of all of the Eagles albums, singles, B Sides and video releases. Many of the tracks have been remastered and the sound quality is really good. The collection was overseen by Don Henley. Recommended.

Another opportunity to enjoy the Eagles at their very best over the years!

I have only listened to the eight discs of the seven studio albums so far but my first impression is one of disappointment. It’s a nice box with two sets of discs – studio and live – and a book. You can actually get the discs in and out of their compartments easily which is not always the case with some designs. And that, dear reader, is the good news. The sound quality is weird: good in parts, muddy in others, volume variations from some tracks from the previous or to the next. For some reason I expected the re-masters to be an improvement and to be consistent but that’s not my impression. The book has lots of photos and no information other than track titles, their writer(s) and the producer. The photos are not annotated so you don’t know who or when or what they are. There is no indication of who was in the Eagles at any time let alone by disc. There’s no sign of the original sleeves or any original release information. Nothing, either, about the (additional) musicians or singer(s). It’s true that a lot of people may not care or know all that stuff but I guess a download would suit them better. At the price the physical contents should have been better in my opinion. (If the live section is significantly better I’ll update this.)

Looks great lovely presentation and packaging but who really needs these sets yet again ! The Eagles have gone to the bank many times and there's nothing new here apart from photos. Where are the out takes b-sides ? what did Henley write ? 'Jesus, people bought it'....

Anche i CD Live sono stati rimasterizzati e presentano un buon comparto audio. Anche sul DVD Live e sul Blu-Ray Live voto più che positivo, soprattutto sul Blu-Ray (traccia audio e video impeccablie, degno di questo supporto).
