Designers Impressions Frankfort Matte Black Handleset with Kingston Interior RH (We Key Lock Orders Alike For Free)

I got the entry handle/deadbolt set in black and initially I was very pleased with it. Once I went to install it though I realized that the screws are a totally different color. I know that isn’t a huge deal for most situations but considering I have an ALL black door with a black handle set, the silver-ish screws are sticking out like a sore thumb. Any door knob I’ve owned in the past had MATCHING screws. The latch plate had also started loosing its finish as of day 3, so I’m scared to see what it will look like months down the road.

I got several different versions of this to replace my existing door knobs in my old house. They look great and are a solid build for sure. Had to get my contractor out to re-drill some of my doors since this house was built in the 40s and not all doors are created equal apparently (back then). After a slight adjustment to some of the doors, the fixtures fit perfectly, perform and look great! Not sure who manufactures these but I would not be surprised if its made by one of the big names by the overall quality.

Looks classy on our dark reddish-brown wood grain front door. Contractor said it was fairly easy to install. Do need to drill an extra hole for the bottom of the outer handle. Deadbolt feel solid and secure. Bottom handle doesn't lock if that's important to you. This is on our front door which we rarely use so don't know how it would hold up with regular use.

It's a nice door handle set, very sturdy. We were replacing an existing set and had a hard time removing that one, and then this one was a little hard to install due to having to drill a new hole for the bottom screw, and the hole wasn't quite straight. Not the fault of the door handle set, but it was frustrating.

We installed this door lever on our guest room when doing a remodel, and were so happy we installed two more on our library and office. A box of 8 more just arrived to put these throughout the house. They're well made and very easy to install, coming with all the parts and materials needed - including a little 'key' to open the door if you accidentally lock yourself out of a room. The finish is a smooth, matte black and shows no signs of wear.

Bought this about 2 years ago, since then the deadbolt has jammed 3 times, and now won't unlock at all. Don't waste your money.

Very well made and sturdy. The design is clean and looks beautiful in our house. We purchased this with the Valhalla front door handle, and they complement each other wonderfully. I definitely recommend!
