I used this to clone a boot SSD to the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD. Once connected, I plugged into USB port and both the enclosure and Samsung SSD were immediately recognised by Windows. I had purchased a cheaper M2 enclosure previously which I had to return because while Windows recognised the enclosure, it would not recognise the Samsung SSD. This Adwits is highly recommended. I have a thunderbolt 3 port in my laptop and after connecting it gets too hot. Sometimes I get worried that it's gonna burn my ssd and I never use it for long time.

I just received this product and had it tested (didn't have a NVMe drive lying around myself) with an Samsung 950 Pro 512GB and had speeds from drive to laptop between 700-750MB/s before encryption kicked in and speeds landed around 300MB/s. Write speeds are a little slower on about 550-650MB/s. Added value with cables. I don't give 5 stars lightly. Risk of added custom and VAT costs. For me 30%.

Its a useful little tool with both USB-C to USB-c and USB-C to USB 3 cables.The cables are satisfactory in length. Not too short, not too long.The read write speeds are OK on USB-C.It handles NVMe SSDs well.

Works flawlessly. I was very positively surprised with build quality. It comes with usb-c and usb-a cables which is very nice and a nice black cover/bag for transport. I can highly recommend.

Easy way to use an m.2 drive. Gives about double the speed of an SSD drive.

Gets a little hot as it does not have any cooling, jel pads etc
