Excellent quality for the price
If you are looking for an inexpensive lycra, this one will do the job. My son uses this to dive in warm waters where a wetsuit is not needed. We did a week long trip (8 dives) and it was quite comfortable. The only comment I have is that the hood is not tight around the head. One one hand, it makes it more comfortable (I don't like the really tight hoods) but on the other hand it holds water and floats over your head. We just tucked it in the back, but it comes out. I ended up using a safety pin to hold it. This is why I don't give it 5 stars. In spite of that, I do recommend these lycras. Good quality, nice design and fits right. Very good option when compared to the $60-$70 ones where you pay for a brand name.

A Thoughtful, Well-Designed Product
I bought this prior to a cruise to Galapagos in which there would be snorkeling. It was amazing! The cruise supplied heavy duty wetsuits that were overkill for the most part. Difficult to put on, and the bottoms were only shorts, and had no head cover. I enjoyed being fully covered in this sleek suit that was a breeze to take on and off, and was the envy of the others. I wore my swimsuit underneath, but not necessary. There was a colder area we cruised to—where we snorkeled with penguins! This suit will not help in cold ocean water. At that point I put the cruise ship’s thicker suit over this one, and was good to go. The bag that is made like a mini-backpack is extremely useful—for a wet suit, or many other needs of an active vacation. The only improvement I can imagine is if they could create a trap door for those annoying bathroom breaks!

Great item, glad to have the hood, difficult to take off
GREAT for snorkling, especially if water is cold. Fit super u der shorty wet suit. Only downside is it is difficult to get off over the first shoulder. Dries fast, but if you have to pull it up again wet—really hard to get back on over the shoulders and into the arms. Pluses outweigh difficulty in getting off or putting back on if damp. So glad we had them in the Galapagos

Sizing is unusual, but Spandex is stretchy, so it will cover many different body types
[Updated after using it for a week] I bought this skin suit to keep the sun off while kiteboarding. The sizing measurement guide they provide is strange, but the suit has a lot of spandex in it, so it fits a wide range of shapes. I am 6'3", and weigh 160, and the XXL fits me. Generally, things that fit my skinny width don't fit my tall height, but the suit stretches enough for me, though I don't know if anyone taller would like it unless they didn't use the stirrups - they can be annoying after a long period of use. There is plenty of stretch left for people thicker than me. I used the suit every day for a week of kiting in the Caribbean and was very satisfied with it. The suit was snug enough so it did not get all baggy with water when in the water. The overall construction seems good, though the thumb loops came loose, but I resewed them on. Kiting is a very active sport, so there is a lot of crashing into the water, sand on the beach, etc, and it held up well. There are no weird bumps in the fabric. My only complaint (and minus a star) is the zipper pull that joins the zipper teeth together is metal, so I expect it will require rinsing after using in salt water or it will corrode. The zipper teeth are plastic, so they are fine for salt water. I was in the sun most of every day, and did not get any burn or tan through the material, so it is great sun protection. At around $30, the suit is almost a consumable. I would buy another one.

Fits well
I’m 6”1’, 180lbs. I bought XXL. Fits well, snug but not overly tight. Thin material similar to Lycra like a swim shirt or running shirt. Quality seems good. I got it for snorkeling in Florida during the winter where it’s a little cold if just wearing swim trunks. My daughter says I look like a seal but I’m not trying to win beauty pageant just be warm. I may not use the hood (just tuck it in behind my neck).

Seems well made.
I just got the suit and it fits well and seems well made. I got it to replace a rash guard that I've had a few years. In terms of size I got an XXL. I'm 6'1" and weigh 175. Obviously sizes run very small. It's nice it has a hood which was important as I prefer to stay protected from the sun. Used it on 14 dives recently. Does exactly what I want which is to protect me from the sun between dives after I peel down my wetsuit. No problem with seams or zippers or material.

Attractive functional suit
I am 5’8” tall 128 lbs and the size large fit just right. The meduim would have been too small. The combo of colors of material and stitching give the suit a versatile sporty look. While I was recently vacationing at the beach, it most definitely came in handy for blocking the intense rays of the Florida sun. Was great for swimming in the gulf and the wetness of the material actually kept me cool when walking and beach combing. Also like the draw string bag it comes with. Take time when putting it on dry preferably, and zip slowly half way up to all the way up as a turtleneck with the hood if so desired.

Happy snorkeller
I wear it either under a hi-viz shirt or under a wetsuit when snorkeling. Great fit. I would normally order an XXL but took a risk because some reviewers said this runs small. It fits just fine, although I prefer to have a little help to get it off my shoulders afterwards. It feels good and seems durable. Great sun and stinger protection.
