My Favorite Tea Infuser
I absolutely love these Finum infusing baskets and plan to buy more. They're super easy to use and don't leave "bits and pieces" floating in my tea. They're easy to clean too.

You won't regret it!
I've had these filters for over a year now and love how easy and effortless it is to clean. Mainly use them for loose tea but may have to try coffee grounds in them sometime, just to try it out

These are GREAT and versatile
You can use these to filter things other than tea, but amazon feedback guidelines prevent me from giving details. As for tea, it works great for single cup or for a pot. Standard teapots are the right size opening for the handles to rest on. I would not pour tea from the pot without removing this filter first, then set your lid back and pour normally. As for cleaning, well that can be difficult because after some time perhaps 18-24 months of use you will begin to see a discoloration that cannot be removed by brushing or soaking. I would soak in a vinegar solution for perhaps an hour and then add baking soda. That will extend the use life.

Where have you been all my life lmao
I hated the ones I had, you know the metal tea strainers or those cute silicone ones or even the mesh materials. Those never kept the loose teas in and I hated having to spit them out.This. This tea strainer is what I’ve been looking for. Even the finest loose tea leaves like roiboos stay inside (see pic). The tea also tastes much better with this. Cleaning is easy and dries easily by letting it out dry. I loved it so much I recommended it to my MIL and she recommended it to her daughter.

Works great!
I got this when I tried a cloth coffee pour over thing on a camping trip. I hated how it stained the cloth though and never looked clean. This is perfect. It’s fine enough to filter the fine, gritty parts without clogging. It’s easy to clean. It’s perfect for camping. I got the two pack so I keep one with my camping gear and one at home since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. Highly recommend.

These Are Awesome
These are wonderful for loose tea. They work great in your standard coffee cups and none of the tea seeps into your water. When done steeping, just take it out and place on the little cap included (so convenient and handy). The ones I received though did not match the picture. The cap was a different color than the base (the cap was black). But these are wonderful products for loose tea at home (or even coffee). And bonus, they're made in Germany.

Perfect! One for work and one for home!
I have used tea balls and other infusers and I like these Finum brew baskets the best. I use this filter to brew loose tea at work and home. The baskets are easily cleaned and durable. The filter keeps leaves where they need to be -- inside of the filter. I have never had any tea escape into my mug.Pros:1)Easy cleanup - Each filter has a fairly wide opening that is nearly as a wide as a coffee mug so it is easy to swipe the inside with a cloth or cleaning wand.2)Durability - With my everyday use, the filter frame is still in excellent shape and the mesh has no holes or crinkles. I use my filters everyday. I have noticed that each filter has begun to be stained by my teas. I haven't seen this impact my tea flavors yet.3)Leaves do not escape into your tea-I do use fine tea on occasion and have had no problem with the tea escaping into my mug. I don't like eating tea leaves; I doubt many tea lovers do.4) Accommodates large teas - The sheer depth of this filter is perfect for brews that involve bulky teas.5) No fancy hand maneuvers required to fill the basket-- There are some tea infusers that require you to grip a handle with one hand and then fill the infuser with tea leaves using your other hand. This basket does not require such dexterity.Cons:1)Lid does not lock - It would have been spectacular if the company had manufactured the device so the lid would lock. If you want to make a pitcher of tea you cannot just drop the filter in the pitcher because the lid will float away. I have not found a tea ball that is ample enough to accommodate the loose tea I use and that keeps all the tea particles inside of the tea ball. Finum could have made a multipurpose item if this device had a screw/locking lid. I'm not docking points for this but I'm hopeful Finum will make a product that could be used for the purpose described one day.

Best Baskets for Steeping Loose Tea and Coffee
I use these multiple times per day. Easier to clean than the tea balls and baskets I was using before.

perfect for both mugs and pots
I have now got rid of all other types of tea strainers and only use these - they are great!I gave up using teabags (because of the plastic used in them), but making just a mugful with loose tea used to be a bit of a faff, because inevitably bits of leaf escaped. I won't say that none ever escapes these filters, but it's usually user error rather than any defect in the item! They are more rigid than similar plastic mesh ones, so easier to clean and they maintain their shape better. They fit a standard mug well, and they also fit into most teapots. If the teapot lid doesn't fit over the filter, the plastic lid/saucer provided is excellent for keeping the tea warm in a pot until it's brewed and for acting as a drip-catching saucer once you take the filter out of the mug or pot.

Not that easy to clean after all....
Have to slightly downgrade my initial review (below) after using these for about a year. They end up not being easy to clean after a while, as they clog up after time - I do let my tea brew for about 10mins, but after the first filter clogged up I started making sure I empty&rinse it as soon as I take it out of my cup. I've soaked them in bicarb & hot water, then scrubbed, which helps for a while, but then it clogs up fairly quickly again. Not ideal, especially as I swapped to loose tea to avoid plastic waste. So I might swap to stainless steel.Really impressed.I ended up with a tin of loose tea, and when I ran out of tea bags ordered these.Fit my mugs perfectly, no tea leaves in my tea, and really easy to clean. Will be sticking to loose tea.

The perfect solution. No more tea bags.
I have been using tea bags for years, but as a drinker of black tea I have become increasingly frustrated of late with a layer of 'scum' on my tea, stained cups and a teapot that had to be continually cleaned out. I live in an extremely hard water area and have spent a small fortune on water filter cartridges, changing them long before they should need changing, descaling the kettle every week, but still scummy looking tea. Then somebody suggested I change to loose tea because they understood that this scum was actually due to the tea bags themselves. I had previously bought The Tea Tool which I still think is brilliant if you can find teabags that don't leave residue behind.Having no means of easily emptying tea leaves from the pot I started looking around for a solution. I have found one - the Finum Brewing Basket. What a revelation. The tea is crystal clear, tastes fresh and "alive" and the tea leaves are easily disposed of in the rubbish bin. So a Finum Brewing Basket and Yorkshire Gold loose tea have solved a long-standing problem. Being a good quality tea there is no dust to seep through the exceptionally fine mesh, so when I get to the bottom of the cup there are no dregs. It's just as well I don't take milk or sugar in my tea as I now enjoy my cuppa even more than ever, I'm drinking twice as much! This medium size basket is perfectly adequate to use with my teapot (8cm across) beause I use such a small amount of tea (less than a teaspoon per 1 litre teapot) as I like it very weak, but for those who would be using 3/4/5 teaspoons of leaves I would suggest opting for the larger size basket to give a little more room for the tea leaves to expand.

Fabulous!
I'm trying to go as plastic free as possible, so stopping using tea bags. It took me a while to find decaf loose tea, but when I did I purchased this twin pack of infusers. They are brilliant! No bags, no dust in the bottom of my mug, easy to clean ...... just perfect. I tip the used leaves on the garden so nothing goes in the bin. Yes, they are partly plastic, but will hopefully last for many years. I'm about to order another pack, as my partner likes them for his coffee. By the way, the Brew Tea Company loose tea, available online and from Waitrose, comes in a cardboard box with a cellophane bag inside that can go in with the garden waste. It's not suitable for home composting, but fine for industrial.

very handy!
Bought these to use with teabags, as since "they" removed the plastic from the manufacturing process the teabags constantly burst in the tea-mugs (Yuk!). These little filters work a treat! Just jiggle it up and down in the mug then press the teabag against the side of the filter, perfect! No tea-leaves/dust in the cuppa! I definitely recommend this type of filter for tea drinkers!
