Visitor's Guide to the Bahamas - Grand Bahama & Freeport Paperback – June 6, 2013

Wow. This is self-publishing at it's worst. It is poorly formatted and the information seems to come from gossip rather than real experience. A total waste of money.

I am planning to visit Grand Bahama Island winter of 2014. This book was very helpful in listing many facets of the island, history, geography, food, accommodations, currency and computer connections with costs. I will be referring many times to my Kindle before my trip next year.

This book contained no maps, outdated info about travel documents, no info about hurricanes or personal safety.It did have lots of other info on history,activities and excursions, which was useful.

This is clearly a cheap print and bind from a web guide. No maps no colour pictures, spelling and grammatical errors. Big tyoeface to fill enough pages to make it look like a book.Took 20 minutes to read cover to cover and I learned almost nothing.Maybe ok as a website to flick through but not worth buying.
