It could use some instructions and a notice about a soldering iron needed but all in all, pretty dope

The media could not be loaded.  If you are looking for a way to learn about electronics that are computer-controlled, this kit is a good place to start.The BONROB folks apparently put a lot of thought into the assortment of gadgets and equipment that they put into this kit. They also provide instructions for the wiring and the running of the scripts/software.I think someone who is completely new to computers and electronics might find this kit to be a bit confusing, though. I had to search around the Web for some help on several occasions. I was able to find what I needed because I do have some computer programming in my background, and I also have built some fairly complicated electronics kits in my past.Positives: -- Great assortment of gadgets and equipment. -- Good instructions, mostly. -- No soldering needed. The wires and gadgets are plugged into a "breadboard", which has a bunch of connected wire sockets. -- A lot of fun to make the various circuits and run them with the Raspberry Pi.Negatives: -- Possibly a bit too complicated or advanced for novice computer or electronics people. -- Some of the instructions are confusing, and some are even wrong. I found at least one wiring error, and at least one script/software error.

I screwed my Arduino to the board with no problems. When I went to screw on my Raspberry Pi I noticed three of the screw holes are one size and one is a bigger size. The bigger size is the only one that has a screw that fits. I have three open screw holes and three screws that don't fit. Really annoying.

First time Raspberry PI user. This kit gave me a good start to learning it.

Great product with most essential components for a RPi project.

I used the starter kit for my Raspberry Pi 2 B+, and so far most parts have been all that's advertised. Although I have not yet tried some of the parts, all pieces except for the power supply have been functional. The GPIO expansion board, LED lights and breadboard have been the most useful - I did not use much of the other parts because many personal projects outside of the ones suggested by the box require additional parts such as opamps and transistors. Though I am slightly disappointed in the power supply board failing (it kept on dropping volts when it was supposed to supply 5V to the USB output, resulting in my RPi rebooting in an endless cycle), it is still possible to power the RPi other ways without the board. Overall, it is a great product and worth the price.
