So pleased with this!! I have one on my keys, my backpack, and my phone cases. The set up was so easy! I have an iPhone so the SwiftFinder app is what it requires. And the range is great as well! Definitely will be purchasing more as great gifts for anyone who loses their keys and wallets like I tend to do.

The problem I see with this is in the design itself. The app recommends to keep SwiftFinder running in the background which means it pings the tag periodically. I understand why but the reality is that because of this the battery in the tag must be replaced frequently. And here is the rub: When you discover your tagged item is lost and now you can’t find it because the battery is dead. That was kind of the last straw for me. I bought first my unit in May and have had to change the battery at least once a month. The other thing that probably contributes to the battery issue is how you store the item so that the button isn’t accidentally depressed while packed away in your backpack or tucked in your pocket. It’s a good idea but these are significant issues. I try to be careful with how I carry these around (I have one attached to the outside of my wallet and one for my car key) but I have gone through at least a dozen CR2032 batteries over the last 6 months and that’s no exaggeration. It does work however the range is limited to about 20-30 meters.

Functions work but using in separation mode drains phone battery. For that reason i had to return.

I used to have a hard time finding my keys/phone. With this finder, I could use my phone to find my keys or another way around. The App is also easy to use. I am thinking about getting another one for my wallet too :)
