I've come to find there is always one of two problems with filter systems.1.) They are a pain to install ( or require drilling into your sink/counter top)2.) The water out put is slower than I could believe.But this guy right here is the business. I owned a pur faucet filter before this one and the apex was twice as easy to set up, doesn't leak, and I have yet to find any carbon dust in my water (my pur filter failed all three of these aspects). Just screw on the piece that fits your faucet and bam! And it fills my 116 oz jug in like 25 seconds (thats super fast compared to other filters). It came already assembled and ready to go. Of course you need to run it for at least 5 minutes to activate the filter and drain out the initial loose filter contents-which needs to be done to all filters-, but after that you're gold. The only complaint I have is the flavor took a little getting use to but I know why. It adds back much needed minerals in the water so that you are actually benefiting from what you're drinking. We got use to it by the second day and my family and I are so thankful for Apex saving us from the hard water we live with.

I’m writing this review because I’ve been recommending it to people personally, but noticed there are some 1-star reviews that quite frankly HAVE to be fake. I liked this so much for home that I bought one for our office. It’s so so good.I was considering buying the Berky because everyone swears by it. But I couldn’t get on board with the manual refill requirement. After hours of research, I came across this one that seemed to meet all the needs of convenience, function, and easy installation, but didn’t cost an arm and a leg.I was skeptical because I read a review about the water being rancid. I was ready to return it if there were any problems. I literally installed this in 30-60 seconds and there were no leaks. I did the same thing at the office on a commercial kitchen sink. So easy! They send you extra parts to make it work if there are any special faucets, but both times I didn’t need the extra parts.The water tastes amazing. It’s so so good. I cannot imagine why ppl would give this bad reviews other than gorilla warfare that happens on amazon from competitors.To anyone that’s skeptical like me, just buy it! You can always return it if you have problems. I promise you won’t. Also, it’s not eligible for prime which was annoying to me (I’m spoiled with 1 or 2 day delivery) but I think it’s worth the wait.

I don't usually write reviews. I moved a while back and have city water now and i'm on the end of the line miles away so I have to get the worst dirty water. Yuck! . I tried several different kinds of hookups, one 5 micron filter did not work. This one did tho with the 2 filters! My water tastes like my old well water that had running water in the bottom of the well like a stream. Even my dog drinks more everyday. I've noticed a difference in how I feel and my dog! I'm honest and that's the truth. Also I talked with the seller and got some extra parts! I will definitely say get this if you want good tasting water. It has to be healthy as I feel better and my buddy Cain likes it better too.. Oh, It cut that "slicky" slim out that would get in his bowl everyday! Recommended by me 100% Please keep these filters as I want to stock up on some. Oh again! I use this in my humidifiers. Smells like fresh rain lol.

This is a very good filter as it mentioned in the product it’s easy and effortless to refill. Only thing is you have to be careful with the knob which connects from kitchen pipe to filter if it broke then you have to spend another $40 too purchase the full set. kitchen pipe to the filter to be carefully used. Other than that. The filter is good. The water is clean and taste I haven’t measured the value, but I can taste is good .my 6 months old daughter drinks this water and she loves it

I live in a Depression era, urban apartment building with old pipes, and this Apex filter turns my musty, metallic water into something wonderful; crisp, clean, perfectly neutral tasting water suitable for everything from cooking to coffee and tea making. I combined this filter with a five gallon glass carboy, and one of those newfangled USB rechargeable water bottle pumps, and I couldn't be happier with the filtering process. I let my tap run for ten or fifteen minutes to clear the lines of stagnant water, attach the filter, fill up the carboy in seven or eight minutes, and then I have a week's worth of good water for one person; safely stored in glass, ready for immediate use whenever needed. Replacement filters are reasonably priced, and in my experience, filter cartridges should last many months, if not an entire year. Sturdy, solid, and well built. I am genuinely very happy with my purchase, and anyone searching for an honest product to improve their home drinking water should not hesitate to buy the Apex MR-2050; the sooner, the better, I say.

While I ordered the dual countertop system, I was able to utilize the good parts to make a single filter system work. I tried contacting the Manufacturer via online chat and phone with no success. One of the housing was completely broken. There was plenty of bubble wrap and the box was not damaged during shipping. I like the performance of the single filter and ordered a spare single unit to replace the housing. (I spent an additional $17 in parts and $23 in shipping. $40 later I will have a complete system.) The down side, the new housing will not match as the MFG did not have a single silver unit to choose from. I gave 2 stars because the product is great when it is functional. I just did not have success with contacting the MFG for parts replacements.Update, converted unit to single filter system to use. Worked for three days before the second housing broke. Both housings broke in the same location. I suspect the housings are defective. Do not by the silver filter system as the housing material is junk.
