I have it set up under my bobbins slightest movement on them and it lights up showing meEven better if I get a run stays on while iam playing fish, just enough light to land fishFantastic

Was looking for a light for night fishing, and this is just the job for when the bite alarm goes off and I come flying out of the bivvy not knowing where I am. I put it just outside the bivvy on the peak. And with the magnetic plate it holds very well. Only one dowside is the on/off switch is under the magnetic part. Not a deal breaker but a bit akward.

Feels cheap at first but I've dropped it several times quite by accident and had it knocked off the inside of my bivvy on more occations than I care to remember and its not been damaged yet so its definatly more robust thaan it feels. On that note stronger magnets would have been better but it stays attached with the steel disc on the outside of the bivvy ok. One major drawback is that you have to remove the lamp to change settings or turn it on or off as all controls are located under the base of the main lamp body this can be done without moving the magnetic mounting plate from its location but its quite fiddly. Functionally its terrific with some very good features and when turned right up inside a bivvy gives off ample light to read by. The timer settings are usefull and work as it says on the tin there's a dimmer setting and an ambiet light detection mode which stops the light coming on during daylight when set correctly. When on full power I've found that 4 aaa Duracell batteries last about 15hrs which is plenty enough to get you through ab entire night should you desire.

Great light but backing plate very week breaks to easy

Really dissapointed light just keeps flashing on and off ... Even difficult to use with sensor as you have to take it apart to turn on and off ..... Other lights without the sensor a third off the price and work a lot better

Excellent product used it twice now .... Finf it excellent when you have a Carp run in the dark and it lights up enough outside your Bivvy for you to see where you are going and also what you are doing . Also good light as security as it illuminates as soon as there is movement outside .....
