Hoped for high quality
Yikes, I can't believe how little quality I received after shelling out so much for this little packet. The production date on the packet I received was June 2015--one year ago. Not sure if that was the reason for the dull paste. I fried it up in coconut oil and was expecting a good exotic hit when I put it in my Tom Kha soup, but it was rather flat. Will just continue to buy the $3 jar of Thai Kitchen from Wal-Mart, I guess. It has a much brighter and fresh flavor.
