Well, this is an absolute delight of a game. Easy to learn, fast-paced, exciting and fun to look at. It's just a perfect package. I've enjoyed this with friends and also my two young sons, both of whom got into it very quickly. The rules are really clear and the artwork makes it a joy to have on the games table. A well thought-out, very good value game that has everything you need for four players in one small box. Excellent for travelling, games nights or to fill a few spare minutes. It has literally no faults as a game. The *only* thing I can say against it is the box comes open a bit too easily, so I'd advise a rubber band around it when it's not in use so you don't lose any of the life counters.

Despite the D&D branding, this is nothing like Dungeons & Dragons; this is a turn based card game, where each deck represents a character, that uses luck of the draw rather than a roll of the dice. Gameplay is straightforward (as well as a rulesheet each deck has a reference card explaining what every symbol represents); you have one card with a counter that represents your HP, and every card you play lets you attack another player, put up some shields, heal yourself, or play or draw more cards (plus other effects). The goal is just to knock other players' HP to zero and be the last one standing. I've played this with my kids, in 2 player games and 4 player games, and it's easy enough that even the 5 year old can join in. 4 player games can last a good 20 minutes, but in a 2 player match it can be over very quickly (best of 3?). Whether or not you like the art work is a matter of taste, but I think it's wonderful. The drawings are sketchy but full of energy and character, with well chosen colour palettes. Though the gameplay is not like a tabletop RPG, the characters are based on those archetypes (rogue, paladin, etc) and the attacks are usually drawn from that world too (fireball, call lighting, stolen potion, and so on). If you like card games or board games, and are looking for something quick and fun that won't take up much space, you can't go wrong with this. The only criticism I can give, is although the cards have a similar quality and texture to Pokémon cards and the like, the edges seem to want to wear away very quickly. So handle with care!

This game is a hit not just with my 8 year old (quick to squeeze a 10 min game before school), but also brought enjoyment to groups of fully grown multi-national adults while on confinement missions in the international humanitarian aid sector. It's very simple and bridges language divides with no proble. I have gifted this game to a few people, all appreciate it.

This is an easy to learn turn based card game that's ideal if your looking for a game that quick to pick up and quick to play for 1-4 players. The box is small and so its easily transportable. Some of the parts are quite small and so can be a little bit fiddly and probably easy to lose. The cards are of medium quality so we'll have to see how they last. Expansions are available to increase long term playability.

Omg , as a grandma who played dungeons and dragons 40 yes ago !, I was looking forward to something we could both enjoy together ( that wasn't on a screen! ) My grandson (age 10 was ready for boredom , but after about 15 mins or so he was really enjoying it. Now he can't wait for more games of it when I visit. Just found out there's other cards to buy too yippee!! BRILLIANT , VERY PLEASED KID 😁

Dungeons and Dragons combat card game. Great fun. Simple and quick to play. Different characters have different attack mechanics. Art style is good.

I bought this game as I was looking for, quick and easy card games to play with my family and friends. This game is very easy to follow and is the perfect size to travel with. You do not have to be into D&D to play this game at all. My mum and dad are not and we played this game for hours!! Each games last around 15-30 minutes (depending on the amount of players). The cards are high quality and the packaging is big enough to hold all the cards comfortably, but not awkward to travel with. The only down side is there is no easy way to store the little tracking pieces. But you can easily put them in a tiny zip loc so you won't loose them. All in all great game and I recommend it to anyone.

We love this game! Its really easy to learn and quick to play. Great family game. We've bought it as a gift for several kids this Christmas.

The game is great and all, however take note that this is actually a high copy and not an original print version. Still well made.

I bought this after enjoying it while at a friend’s house. Great fun and easy to play. I am now looking for the expansion packs!
