MANSOV Yoga Mat PRO 1/4 High Density 100% TPE and Rubber Non Slip Durable Pilates Mat and Exercise Mat with Carry Bag or Strap

Very well made, sleek yet durable. I haven't used it to actually practice or take it to a class yet, but I can tell it's going to work just fine! It was nice to receive an email warning about the smell. I wiped it down, let it air dry for a few hours and everything seems fine. The smell still lingers, but honestly I was too impatient to make a big thing of it so I'll just wipe it down again some other time. The design does seem to be inconsistent (it kind of angles off if an odd way), but I suppose that could be the intended design. All in all, I'm more than satisfied!

I received the mat and the strap but did not receive the bag as stated in the description. I followed the instructions to let the mat air for a couple of days and wipe it down before use. There was only a faint rubber smell after that. The foam padding is nice and does not allow for slipping. The strap is very thin and if you walk to yoga class it cuts into your hand or shoulder and the strap is not that long. I contacted the seller about the bag as stated in the description. Have not heard back.

I grew up on cheap CVS yoga mats, so my mind was pretty much blown after working out on this Mansov mat. Who knew you could get such a premium quality yoga mat for only $35.99? Here's why I would highly recommend this mat to any yoga practitioner or bodyweight fitness enthusiast:1. It is thick and dense. I once owned a 6mm mat that felt like quicksand - my foot would literally sink in every time I stepped onto the mat. No bueno. Mansov's mat is extremely sturdy - it feels very thick, and offers great support for my spine and my knees when I do floor exercises.2. It offers great traction. If you've ever tried to hold a downward dog for 5 breaths on a cheap yoga mat, you know my woes. My hands start sliding forward on count 2, and before I can even finish 5 breaths, I'm pretty much parallel to the mat. Not with Mansov. Mansov keeps me exactly where I intend to be with its ridged and non-slip surface.3. It is super long. I've never owned a 72" mat, but I'm never going back to whatever the standard size is. I used to have trouble staying on the mat while doing my sit-ups (I'd start sliding off the mat from the constant motion), but the 72" length gives me plenty of wriggle room.While the Mansov is an excellent product, it did smell like someone was trying to start a chemical warfare in my living room after unpacking the mat for the first time. Here's fair warning if you're considering the purchase - open it in a well-ventilated area, and have some Febreze on hand.

This mat slides a lot for me, even when I hold my positions as best I can in downward dog, warrior one, etc. I can't fathom how this is an acceptable yoga mat.Also, although the aesthetic quality is not as important as the functional quality, I find it odd that the printing on this mat does not fit the cut. There is a light colored "v" shaped or "Chevron" pattern throughout, and it is askew to the cut of the mat. I attribute that to the overall poor quality of the mat.I have been practicing yoga for 18 years and would not recommend this mat.

I purchased this mat because the reviews said it didn't slip. The backside is the side that doesn't slip so that's what I use. I do hot yoga and it really works. Don't use the front side. I recently left my mat and someone picked it up so I will be purchasing another because I will just use the back side. For the price I can't go wrong. You do need to air it out when you get it.

Excellent mat for yoga. Lots of cushion, long enough, very comfortable. Down side is that it's very heavy to carry around. If you are just lugging it around in your car, you'll love it. If you live in a walking city or are carrying this around on your bike, I hope you have muscle to carry it.

I have used this mat 4-5 times a week for 2 1/2 months now and am pleased with the result. It has been slippery during some of the extreme hot-yoga classes, but I use a small towel to wipe it quickly and it's fine again. It has gotten some scratches on it from my nails, but it doesn't look bad. I don't use the bag it came with because it doesn't fit any of the other things I need for my yoga classes (water-bottle, towel, ankle-weights, dumbbells), but the carrying-strap is OK. The mat is easy to clean when you follow the instructions. Overall a good mat for the price and it's up to the standards of the mats you pay more than twice the price for! Assuming it lasts for 1 year when I use it 5 times a week, I will gladly purchase this mat again :)

I would love the mat except for the fact that I slip on the black surface. It's durable, thick and the carrying case is terrific. I've been flipping it over and using the gray side and that works better, it's just a little rough on my hands and feet.
