Mattress very thin can feel the slates through it, not like the good old days of sturdy futon mattresses this one doesn’t stay upright to the frame and flops as just too thin and lose a mattress fibre

I thought I’d wrote the review in the previous bit but here goes, easy to set up and change between bed and sofa well easy enough but could be easier, I don’t like making bad reviews if I can help it but as it is a bed it should be strong enough to support weight if you happened to walk accross it in bed mode considering how close to the floor it is as well. However as in the picture that is a snapped rib and I weight less than 85kg and it’s the sort of break that could of been easily avoided with a central spine running down the length of the bed as even when it changes shape each section doesn’t overlap so three seperate bits of wood for stability would not of hurt. That being said I intend tk make this fix my self and some other improvements but if you are not DIY competent then this may not be for you as it is a good foundation to work on and improve for a low price point but again if you want it to function and be strong out the box then spend more for a higher end one of these that maybe has the fixes suggested as standard.

I was very wary while buying this because there were just so many out there whose reviews were negative and were supposedly too small, etc. This one is a perfect double bed size, and is sturdy and easy to fold up or out. The mattress is also great except that it has started to sag a little after being used as a bed for a month. Now that I'm using it as a futon-sofa, it doesn't look as thick and firm as it did when I bought it.

The whole design is quite clever and simple. The only bad thing is that the mattress is too thin, I can feel the wooden planks through the mattress.

Mattress is a little thin but it was one of the most cost effective on the market so not so much to complain about

this a great item, compact stylish and perfect for the sapre room. It has enough room for two adults to sleep or 1 to starfish in the bed alone.
