Flutter! Fly! (Indestructibles) Paperback – Picture Book, December 16, 2009

(For those of you who are like me and like a short and to the point review. If you are looking for lengthy details, alas that is not me :)BRIEF OVERVIEW:After my baby (who LOVES books) started sinking her new little teeth into her books I started the hunt for books that I wouldn't have to stress about her having as her afternoon snack. This is a wonderful book, bright pictures (although no words - which is fine, the books with words I read to her and don't have to worry about her eating while I am around), and most importantly this book lives up to it's name, she has not destroyed it as of yet.WHO IS THIS BOOK FOR:Little ones like mine who love books and love to eat them just as much as read then.THE BOTTOM LINE:Would I recommend this book? YES!PS check out my other reviews. I'm a picky first time mom that has spent a lot of time and energy (and $$$) researching and buying some great (and some not so great) products for my little love.

My daughter loves these books! They can be washed and dried too!

We have this and three other titles. Our son is now one year old, and has had these since he was seven months old. He loves them! He loves looking at the pictures, and though it is thankfully less and less, he still likes putting them in his mouth. He has crumpled them, drooled on them, chewed them, and probably tried to rip them to pieces, but so far there are no tears at all. They are a bit wrinkled after so much abuse, but that is not an issue for us. There are no words, so you can make up your own stories, or just name the animals - each page has enough detail other than the focus animal that it is easy to come up with stories. The pictures are beautiful too - not cheap looking at all.

My daughter is 8 months old and she LOVES paper, but I hate the mess it makes when she rips it up and I always have to worry about her eating the paper bits. These books are fantastic! We have three now. She loves the colors and shapes and giggles with joy when I take the books out for her to play with. She can amuse herself on her own with one of these for about 30 minutes. She will look at the pictures, crinkle up the pages, put it in her mouth...it's a grand old time. If she drops it on the ground when we're out, no problem, I just put it in the dishwasher when we get home. This is an amazing product. I foresee these books being fun for her until she's about 3 or 4, so they are a great buy. I've also gotten a few as gifts for other kiddos and can report that they love them as well.

These books are my favorite shower gift. I can't believe they are as inexpensive as they are, and my kids LOVE them. This one is my new favorite. The illustrations of birds (including an adorable pair of owls!!) and bugs are perfect for any age or gender, but it's the paper-like crinkliness that keeps my 8-month old happiest. I keep these things spread around the house to swap out for him any time he tries to grab what we are reading or attempts to eat his dad's paperwork...again.So very highly recommended. Get 3-4 at least!

Great little book for my daughter who chews on everything!! The material is very strange - I thought it would cause a papercut, but it is actually soft. I tried to rip and couldn't - it really is as durable as it says! Haven't tried washing it...not sure how I would do that!Only criticism is that it doesn't have any words - just pictures. It's okay right now, but I wish they sold some with stories in them. Oh well! Still great!

I bought this book as an item to add on to a diaper cake I was making for my cousin's baby shower. My son has 3 of the Indestructibles books and they are just too cool so I wanted to get one for her. It ended up being a bit of a conversation piece at the shower. Most people had never heard of them but were checking it out and saying what a neat idea these books are.The images are really beautiful with great bold colors for babies and they really are "Indestructible"! My son loves them. They're especially great for car rides!

These books are fantastic! I ordered two of them, and while I wish this book had more details other than just the one picture on each page with no words, I have to use my imagination to keep the "story" going for baby. But she doesn't seem to mind at all, she just loves loves loves that she allowed to grab, crinkle and crush this book all she wants and I can just let her! It makes a very satisfying crunching noise for her efforts which she loves. It already is very bent and wrinkled, but I feel it only makes it more enticing for her, easier for her to turn the pages and more fun for her to flap and fling. It will only get better the more she tries to mangle it. We are already planning to buy more!

I love the whole indestructibles series! This particular one is less busy than other ones so it was a nice addition to the our rotation. Like it's name, babies can chew it, stomp on it, pull on it, be washed and stay indestructible.

Minha filha brincou muito com esse livrinho até uns 7 meses. É legal porque dá liberdade ao bebê para manusear o livro.

Excellent for squeezing in the pram bag, will last some time as our daughter grows to use it differently as she develops. She's only 5 months now.

Super livre pour les petits car il est indestructible : on peut le mâchouiller, le froisser, essayer de le déchirer, bref il résiste.Si l'enfant le froisse trop, hop on le met sous un gros livre et le tour est joué.Total j'ai pris quasi toute la collection

Super schöne Bilder, tolles Material knittert wie richtiges Papier aber reißt nicht ein und weicht im Mund nicht auf. Tolles Produkt!
