Miracle of the Moringa Tree

I work in Cameroon we are giving to teach the children how to plant and care for Moringa this is a great book for them. Easy read and to understand the adults will also enjoy it.

Very disappointed. You can get all the same information by googleing the title. I was hoping there was more information.

I love this book for what it teaches and for the illustrations. It is way too wordy for young children.

The authors do an outstanding job reminding us that even though we live in a land of plenty, there are numerous people in the world who are not as fortunate. They explain that there is a tree that could save many of the hungry and starving folks of the world. Although there are other authors and web sites that deal with this problem by promoting the Moringa tree, this is one of the first that is written for children. The illustrator has created beautiful pictures that can lead youngsters to greater understanding. The colors are vibrant and suit the rhythm of the story. The bibliography gives a number of web sites that teachers could use to expand the story to create learning units. The story even lends itself to being acted out by the listeners. I would urge libraries to add this to their multicultural collections. Church libraries should definetly have this book in their collections!
