Used it for skiing and it, uh, held my stuff. Didn't fall so I didn't get to check the waterproofing, but if that becomes a problem I'll come back to amend this review - if you don't see an edit, assume the waterproofing works as well!

I like the fact that this hydration pack has extra storage for snacks or other gear. It seems to be a heavy duty pack and I would definitely buy it again.

Surprisdly good, I am loving so far. If you like outdoor activities it will be useful you. I am liking it the fact that you can use it not just as a water bag, but others too.
