Our family recently purchased the Brio World Deluxe set and we couldn't be more thrilled with the purchase! This train set is a delightful blend of quality construction, imaginative play, and endless entertainment for our little one. The standout feature of this set is the high-quality wooden construction. Purchased this for my nephews last year, they are now 5 and 7 and still getting daily use out of this wonderful elder, configuring it in different ways and using their imaginations. The storage bin holds up well, and all the included pieces have proven durable and good quality.

I’m not sure who loves this set more - me or my 3 yr old son. (Probably me!). This set requires a lot of space - not sure that most standard train tables will accommodate. I ordered this as a Christmas present after doing a lot of research and reading tons of reviews. High quality pieces and components that help little ones develop fine motor skills. And I really think it will grow with the child. Younger kids will need some help putting it all together but I could see older kids have a ball designing their own track configurations. Have since ordered a track extender pack and a few other pieces. Love everything! On the pricey side but well worth it!

Amazing! I love. The kids loves. So much fun to play with. Keeps my kids busy for hours. Not offensive to look at. Super sturdy. I can’t say enough about Brio we love it! Also it ends up being a value for your money if your kids ask for a new train thing every birthday or Christmas

Santa brought our 3 year old son this amazing set. He plays with it multiple times a day and there is so much to do! The people that can ride in the vehicles, airplane, cargo loading station, bridge and passenger train are the favorites so far. We want to buy the roundhouse, a tunnel, stacking supports and more track pieces to expand it upward. Brio is well-made and even though Thomas is super cute I love the passenger friendly designs of these vehicles. It brings a whole other element that puts it over the top. We bought a battery powered engine to give another nice ability to the set.

We admittedly went a little train crazy this Xmas and bought this set as well as the other Deluxe Brio set, mostly because we got two great Amazon Warehouse Deals. Also, our son desperately wanted the airport, and the airport set seemed like a poor value. We have had no problems with “used” items. The other set has arguably a more interesting layout, but this one has better destinations. There is a lot to learn with this set. Our almost-3-year-olds have been learning about time (with the clock on the station), right and left, prepositions, concepts of weight and distance, advantages of trains versus boats versus cars versus planes, safety equipment like helmets, needs of living things (there is hay to feed the cow and horse), etc. Using a train table might teach them more about compromise and building within constraints, but for now, the floor is fine. Neither of the Brio sets included a large focal point “building” such the roundhouse or the parking garage; we might add one for Easter/birthday. Update: We don’t own a pet, but the neighbor’s cat became very interested in stalking the battery powered engine through the sidelights on the front door. The train engines are about the size of a rodent. If you own a cat, it might try to kill a battery powered engine if you add one. The set does not come with a battery engine; we added one.

Simple, fun, tens of hours of play. It’s only been a year, but I expect my kids’ kids will be playing with this set.

It should be written somewhere in BOLD that this set DOES NOT go with Brio table size wise! I got it today & after a frustrating hour trying to put it together realized that there's no way it will fit on the new table I bought. I'm so upset that I cried. Otherway, the set is beautiful & quality made, but please let us parents know this very important part.

This Luxury set should have included at least ONE battery operated train. For the price I am very annoyed that I had to spend more money and more precious time trying to source out a battery operated carriage.

Fantastic set; has a little bit of everything (airport, ferry pier...). Our 2 year-old loves it (we've kept all the smaller accessories packed away for now); very good for learning and identifying colours and objects, and using simple mechanisms (pressing buttons, winding up cranes etc.). The wood is fairly robust, but can split, we've had to use a bit of wood glue to make repairs less than 6 month in.
