Stabilo-All 3x Pencils (Black-Red-White)

Works great for laying out pin strips on motorcycle gas tanks.

I saw these pencils being used in an online collage tutorial. They really are perfect for outlining your collage pieces, it's amazing how much they change whatever you outline from just ok to POW! Many to choose from and this starter pack of 3 colors is really perfect.

This is really a 5-star review for the pencils but a 4-star for the way they're shipped. Have used these pencils before (always bought them in art stores) and love them because they write on just about any surface. However, like other Amazon buyers have complained, they need a bit of protection when they're shipped. While the points of the white & red pencils weren't completely broken off, they did need to be sharpened before use because half the point was gone. A plastic bag that gets put ion a paper padded bag isn't enough protection for something that can break easily. At least the black pencil wasn't damaged!

Worked OK. Readable on different colored surfaces. Some colors better than others. Thought other reviewers were whiners when complaining about broken tips. I was mildly annoyed when I had to dig into ancient pencil boxes for a sharpener just to experiment. Yes, I had to test to see how a pencil works (sigh).

The three pencils arrived broken. I tried to sharpen them with two different reputable brand hand held sharpeners and the wood on the black pencil was almost torn through. By the time I obtained a sharpened pencil, I had lost one third of its size. I only bought them for a project that I am working on which required their use. I wasted $17 and would not recommend them.
