MetroQ MTQ-890 KPH BPT609 Analog Multimeter

After a long time I was able to find a good, accurate analog multimeter. The so called craps found in the market are worthless to buy. But this meter is good looking, robust and has a premium feel. The display is clear enough to read the deflection. It has "x100k" scale so I can measure higher resistors. The x1 i.e. the continuity scale has a buzzer which automatically sounds if any component/circuit shows a short along with full range deflection of the pointer. HFE scale is pretty accurate. It has dedicated battery checker which is a bonus. DCv/ACv/DCmA/DCA (upto 10A, yes, it can measure higher current in series) all work accurately. It provides a small capacitance checker upto 2mfd which I didn't check.Overall a compact multimeter in this price segment. It is far better than the low priced digital counterparts.Thanks Amazon and Metroq.

Most advance analog multimeter I ever used and it also looking nice with clear display andReading is more accurate .

I purchased this Meter in sep 2019 and used it for 5 to 10 times only. in March now, this become non functional. i know this is not falls under warranty so i opened it and to check whether i can do something to make functional. surprised to see one of contact block is broke as the wall of the channel is very flimsy and delicate. so under pressure from the spring it broke and now the meter is useless without this contact spring. this is only less than Rs 10 part!! Now this need the rotary switch to fix.as usual contacted Amazon customer service and they directed me to the supplier M/s MetroQ. i contacted them and after so many calls, someone picked up the line and asked me to send a mail stating the issue. sent mails with request for switch and even willing to pay for the parts. but there is no responce for my reminders as well.I don't mind product failure,, it may fail anytime but after sales support is very important, which is lacking from this supplier. Now this meter is useless and i recommend everyone not to buy this from this brand as you will suffer and it is waste of your money
