Love this!
Great little omelette maker! It took 8 minutes rather than 5 - this was based on making two. First was 2 x egg and spinach, and then a Spanish omelette (2 x egg, cheese, ham, spring onion and spinach). They turned out perfectly, fluffy and we thought the size was fine. They didn’t need oil and came out easily with a plastic spatula. Barely anything to clean afterwards either! This is going to get a lot of use in our house whilst dieting.

Easy to use
This is such a great little gadget if you make eggs and omelettes often. I struggle to cook omelettes properly on the hob but this is so easy. It heats up super quick and you can use it to pre-cook omelette fillings first before pouring eggs in. I can only fit 3 eggs between both sides if using fillings or 2 eggs in each side for fried eggs but that's perfect for me. I absolutely love it and it makes life much easier. I wasn't sure if I'd use it much but if anything I cook eggs more now. Would recommend.

Handy Little Egg Cooker (Needs a Quick Clean-Up)
I picked up the Salter 6-egg electric cooker on 29 May and have been using it for a couple of weeks. It’s made breakfast a breeze:Easy & fast.Six eggs are done in about 10 minutes, and the buzzer turns it off so I don’t have to watch the hob.Good results.Soft, medium, or hard. So far, every batch has turned out just how I wanted.Solid build. The plastic lid and base feel tougher than I expected for the price, and it’s small enough to leave on the counter.Cons! The metal hot-plate gets a cloudy white film after each use. It’s only limescale, but it needs a quick wipe with vinegar to look clean again. A longer power lead would be nice too.Overall, if you want fuss-free boiled eggs, this gadget delivers. Just be ready for a little extra cleaning, and it earns a solid 4 stars from me.

Fantastic gadget changed my habits.
I love poached eggs but would only ever order them in cafes because I am not blessed with the egg-poaching gene. I have not stopped using this little beauty. It’s compact and convenient and I also put all the plastic parts into the dishwasher. Unbelievably hassle free - my husband even uses it now. I may get a second one so we can both have poached eggs at the same time on the weekend. I haven’t used it for boiled eggs because I’m not a massive fan of them, so I can’t comment there. The poached eggs are fantastic though. Wish I had known about these machines years ago, won’t be without one now.

Review of egg cooker 😁🥚👍
++ There are multiple products on the page, this one is for the first product the egg cooker (boiled and poached eggs) ++This is a simple but effective device that I now use exclusively for my boiled and poached eggs as it is easy to use and gives great results. It is essentially a hot plate that steams the compartment to cook the eggs. The clever bit is the measuring cup that you use to top it up and is marked to show you exactly how much water to use. Be careful with the steam when removing the lid and also the piercing needle on the underside of the measuring cup. (note I use large size eggs)Boiled eggs : Remove everything from the unit and fill up the cup to the appropriate marked level. Pour the water in then put the black tray and then your eggs in. Carefully pierce the top of the eggs once beforehand using the spike on the bottom of the cup. Put on the lid, press the button and wait. After 7 or so minutes when the light goes off your lovely eggs are ready ! There is no beep or timer so keep an eye out, maybe set an alarm if you're absent minded like me.Poached eggs : Very similar but you just crack the eggs into the two trays provided and place onto the black tray (not directly onto the metal base). The poached eggs aren't quite as perfect as "proper" poaching however but give better results than the microwave trays I used to use and are more than adequate for kitchen numpties like me.Several weeks in I'm still happy with device and use it regularly though it does feel a little flimsy and the bottom tray is a bit discoloured also. I do worry about losing the all important measuring cup however all the parts can be stored inside the unit when not is use so hopefully it won't be an issue. Overall though I'm glad I "shelled out" twenty quid on this as it doesn't take up too much cupboard space and encourages me to eat lots more lovely protein filled eggs🥚🥚🥚👍🙂

Much better than I expected
A lot better than I thought. I don’t usually buy items like these as I find them gimmicky however due to recently moving and not having an oven for a few weeks. I got this. This is a really good product easy to use and surprisingly accurate with the different settings. Not tried poached eggs but with boiled eggs it cooks them almost perfect. Great price and saves on electric and water.

Not as big as you think
Ok it works, BUT it’s not extra large it’s quite small the omelettes only cook on the bottom you have to turn them over to cook all the way through. It’s clean and doesn’t stick (so far). This is the only problem with buying things on Amazon you can’t see what you’re buying until you’ve bought it.I will use it as it’s not greasy and the eggs are tasty without any oil but if I saw it first and saw how small it is I would have stuck to my old frying pan
