Received wrongly packaged item ? Misleading image ?
The box looks fine for storage, and I am sure I would like it if it were what I ordered (or thought I was ordering). Instead of the purple box that I ordered, I received a purple lid with a brown box. So, is the picture misleading or was the item packaged incorrectly? I'm sure I would have given it a higher review had I received what I expected. I will be returning this. Reordering risks having to send a second one back. The problem, in addition to the inconvenience of having to return the item because it doesn't match the advertised description, is confidence in the seller.

the boxes are as picture, they have a magnet to close them. They did smell awful. I had to leave them outside for two days.

Beautiful - BUT - have a strong smell.
I love these boxes. They are the right size for my needs and the design it beautiful. However, they have a horrible smell of formaldehyde!!! I have placed them in the garage to hopefully air out. If they do not, I sadly will be returning as I want to use this boxes to store baking tools for pastries and frosting items in my pantry. I am concerned the smell would transfer to the products. I truly hope the smell will leave!
