Beautiful whimsical fantasy
The conclusion to the Elements of Cadence duology surpassed all my expectations. It is beautifully written, the characters are engaging and vibrant. This duology is just magic.

Slow to start but a wonderful second half of the book. The lore was so interesting and I loved the exploration of the spirit world. Also the growth of these characters over the two books was excellent. Well thought out - they didn’t become heroes overnight but gradually over time really fleshed out.

Just as good as the first book!
The sequel to A River Enchanted, I went in hoping to see how the story would develop from the ending of the first book, and I was not disappointed! This was such a rollercoaster ride of a story, and I rooted for the protagonists to get the happy ending they deserved. If this universe gets a follow up, I'll definitely read it!

Beautifully Lyrical and Atmospherical
Things are becoming even more desperate for the residents of Cadence on both sides of the Clan Line. With Adaira now in the West, Jack is at a loss. But it soon becomes apparent that something must be done about the Spirit Bane, who intends to rule over the mortals too.A Fire Endless has the same lush atmosphere as its predecessor. The book is so beautifully written, and Rebecca Ross proves once again that she is an immensely talented author with a real flair for world building.

This was a perfect ending to a magical book.
This was a perfect ending to a magical book.I didn't get my wish for the woodcarver to come again but we can't have everything.I'll start with the things I loved, because I usually don't. Torin in the folk realm was brilliant. Loved it. We've seen a lot of growth in Torin's character, first from the enchanted blade and then being the invisible observer of everything and everyone. The journey and conversations with the folk were great and you have to have a little love for Hap.Sidra grew a little as well but honestly, I'm not really sure where I sit with her. She's like...too good? Definitely coped well with Torin's absence in the folk realm. I'm not sure many would be so calm hearing 'magical people got your husband. btw you're in charge now.'I also wasn't sure where the initial bit with Kae was going to fit in but that ended up working so well and for a character who says nothing for the most part, she was excellent.I'm still on the fence with Adaira and I can't figure out why. And I'm not totally sure which ending for her and Jack I wanted. Everything felt a bit like it wrapped up in a neat little package too well. But we'd probably all be mad if it didn't.Generally, I loved the two books. They were a magical little escape and one without being too heavy all things considered. The characters are overall great, development where you'd hope for, compassion, empathy, all the good things. If you're into magical, folk-people style Scottish influenced stories, this is absolutely worth reading and seeing the story to its end.

A very easy five star read
If I could, I will rate this book a thousand stars. It’s so beautifully written. There is literally nothing more I could ask for in a book 💯💯
