Long time happy owner review
I purchased this tent in 2017. I thought others might appreciation a long-term review of how this holds up over time. We have used this tent many times, but we are not daily beach goers. It has probably been used at least 5 times per year, give or take. After all of this time, the bag, poles, lines, and sandbags are all still in good shape. The tent fabric elastic is starting to get shot, so you can see ruffled/thinned fabric where the poles normally push against the fabric. This is causing me to search for another tent for this summer.I have to say this tent has served us well. It can handle more wind than a traditional umbrella, and offers more square feet of shaded space as well.Setup is easy if you are good with tents and wind direction. Given that, I would not recommend it for someone that doesn't intuitively understand how to angle the poles against the wind and ropes. It does occasionally fall if there's a huge gust of wind, and sometimes the pole angles need to be readjusted. It's not rocket science, but I've seen some people struggle with these aspects. If you are comfortable with these factors, setup takes only a few minutes.I am repurchasing another unit that is slightly bigger with more poles and sandbags. However, if you want one this size, I think this tent is high quality. If anything lasts more than a couple of years these days, I am impressed.

Shade for a vampire
I'm not one of those people who's willing to write a review after 10 minutes of use on a product.I bought this sun shade 2 years ago. I sunburn. Easily. So much so that we have started documenting our tropical vacations and the name of the photo album is "Shade hats for vampire boy." Since I'm not willing to live my life only emerging at night, or in a coffin as most vampires do, we decided that we needed to get a shade tent. One that packs away into a piece of carry on luggage, is easily identifiable on a beach, and is easy to set up and take down. The Neso fit the bill on all counts, at least on paper. We have now used it in Mexico, on Oahu, in Costa Rica, and various places on Washington's Puget sound. It's fantastic. The key to success with this thing is mainly in the sandbag anchors. If you fill them to maximum capacity, especially with some damp sand, and then put a little sand over the top of that, you're in business. We've used it in 20+ mile an hour winds and not had it come down. I will confess, while we were in the learning curve at the beginning, before we figured out the sandbags, it was kind of a pain. But it didn't take long for us to figure out that the design was sound, we just needed some fine-tuning in our setup. Once we got the sandbags figured out, and made sure that we put the poles on whichever side the wind is coming from, it hasn't mattered how hard the wind is blowing.I would definitely recommend it. All the things that we were looking for on paper, it has delivered.I will say that over the course of the two years and those various trips, the color has faded a little bit. But not so much so that it's difficult to recognize on the beach or fails to provide shade.

Shade
Great sun protection for most if the day, color and fabric is durable. Just note all the sand bags must be HEAVY or else it will not work. This tent was turning heads. I received so many compliments. It was windy that day and the tent was holding strong. But I gave it 4 stars only because I feel like over time, the fabric isn't going to be as stretchy and the balls on the top of the post will rub a hole. I think having a pocket for the post would secure the post better in the front or make 18 ins of the fabric thicker in the front other than allowing gravity to secure the posts because the fabric is already stretched and now your putting additional stress from the post. I wish i took a picture to show why im making this comment, to show where the fabric is stretched the most is where the post goes and its white, nolonger black. I think over time a hole will form in the fabric, but for now, the contraption worked! I will continue to use the tent.

buy a scuba gear bag
used mine about 2 dozen times in the last couple of years and it's holding up well, the color faded which means it's doing it's job.In defense of the bag, it's perfect for what it is: shipping and storing the product. The problem is you can the legs in one half of the bag easily, but the shade itself has to be rolled up perfect to fit, and it never is, so what happens I'd force it in and ultimately rip the storage bagSolution is to get a gear bag. I got a 22" one, perfect, holds 2 beach towels and a camping shovel for burying the bags.Perfect.
