Too narrow to fit standard geological slides, broken upon delivery.
The item came damaged in the mail with the plastic window smashed and the hinge broken, so not out to a great start. (Realise this isn't the fault of the item but the packaging/handling perhaps).The slide box itself doesn't fit my microscope slide, they are standard Geological Thin Sections but the grooves are slightly (by perhaps 1/2 a mm) too narrow. So the box ultimately isn't usable for my purposes.Overall the quality of the plastic seems sturdy, despite arriving broken, if it has worked I would have been pleased with it, so I gave it an extra star (instead of one) for that.Pros:Nice thick plasticLarge slide capacityCons:Standard Thin Sections don't fit (slightly too narrow in width, maybe 500µm)Broken upon delivery
