I gave this as a gift, and if I recall it was made in Rhode Island, USA. It is a very heavy bell. Authentic. One that is made for boats. SOLID brass. As a former sailor in the USN, having had to clean and polish more brass than I care to admit.... this is the real deal. Would purchase again if the need arose.

Q: is it made in the U.S. ?

I think its made in India. I bought one for my RV because of the family Navy and Marine traditions. It is lightweight but not flimsy, looks great, easy to take the bell off when in travel mode and sounds like a ships bell.
