Great base, painful wait for delivery.
When it finally arrived, don't ask (!!!!!) the base is brilliant. Very solid, excellent fittings for parasol, rock solid. Can't see parasol blowing over with this on. I just wish delivery had not been a total pain. Terrible. I nearly gave up and asked for a refund. Appreciate all couriers busy, but XDP hopeless at keeping you up to date. Their driver, when he arrived, was polite and a good bloke. I salute all couriers, but this company needs to get itself organised better.

Great quality, heavy and sturdy!
Just arrived and it’s perfect! I was really worried about it being heavy enough or the upright fixing being strong enough as I’m on a 7th floor balcony and it’s for a large, half parasol. It’s well made, nothing fiddly at all and very solid.I’m waiting for a 1m square wooden table to go underneath which I’ll cut a hole in to accommodate the parasol and add extra stability.The only issue is it’s not absolutely flat against the wall, but then thy would probably lead to rubbing in even a slight breeze!
