If you had problems with other bone saws cutting crooked blades not tight or trying to find a new saw to replace your great gran daddy's saw this is it. Little expensive but it's quality good steel in the blade you will not be disappointed.

Very Good Quality ... but very expensive
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this saw.Very sturdy and well built. Not sure if it was worth the price though (unless you are also after an heirloom). This should last forever ...It's really the blade that is important and I had a hard time finding replacement bladesI can get them at Heinson's Country Store online (?spelling?) for about $8 each for carbon steel.You need pin to pin dimensions of 19.0 inches...also the blade has holes not pins.I would think that this design is better than the new crop that is out there now (I could be wrong)This design uses a bolt to attach the blade to the saw, not a pin on the blade.Other saws have a lever to tighten the blade which is faster and easier, BUT, can you make it as tight as you would like ?Also note that replacement blades with holes instead of pins are cheaper.

Cuts Through Thick Bones Almost Like Butter
This knife is amazing. My husband uses it for butchering deer in the field, also for cutting the bone of a big ham into chunks -- more soups and pots of Ham ’n’ Beans!
