Alaster Women’s Chiffon Short Sleeve Casual Midi Dress Irregular Hem Summer Dress

This is a comfortable fitting dress that can be worn for casual or more formal occasions. I did not pair it with a belt when I wore it but it does look good with a belt. The green is a very pretty color, consistent with the product image. I am roughly 5'5 and 160lb with a 36DDD chest and the large fit me well. I like how the sleeve are long enough to cover my arm jiggle. My only criticism is that there were a lot of stray threads at the seams, all over the dress, which required trimming. I hope the stitching is strong.

I think this dress is so pretty and very flattering! I’m a new mom and wanted something that was complimentary on my new body and this fit the bill. It perfectly hides everything I want it to but is still young and cute. I’ll be adding a belt over the elastic waist band for my personal preference but it could absolutely be worn as is. The only complaint I have is that the dress is a little sheer and will require a slip.

This dress fit well and was very flattering. I was expecting the bottom to have more flow on the sides based off the image modeled instead it was a straight bottom all the way around. The seems came apart really easy and after one wash started to unravel. This is not a dress that could be worn multiple times. The dress was comfortable but the top was a little tight on me, the arms were loose as exepected.

I loved this dress when it arrived. It fit perfectly, was flattering and the colors were as expected. I am a size 14, pear shaped women. I bought a large and an extra large to test the fitting. I thought the large may have felt a little snug up top but my mother said the extra large LOOKED too big on me. So I kept the large. I bought it to wear to a wedding, I received many compliments on it, it (barely) served it’s purpose and then went to the trash. It wasn’t until I was at the event for which I bought it for, looking in a mirror in the restroom, that I noticed the neckline was crooked. By mid evening I noticed a small run in the skirt area, luckily because of the way it’s made it was not noticeable. However, by later that night my other half asked me if I had cheese sauce on my boob. I looked down and there was a large run in a solid blue area of the fabric directly on my left breast. I was mortified! I can even see both imperfections in pictures.Like I said, it served its purpose so I wasn’t even going to bother with a return.

The skirt of the dress is so cute that it's a shame the top is so terrible. The shoulders are not cut properly. The sleeves are narrow across the shoulder but low cut below the armpit, and the dress pulls awkwardly when you raise your arms. The neckline is also unflattering. There is no sizing up or down that could make this work. It's just not well made.

This dress is so flattering and comfortable. I love the feel of the material and the cut of the dress. I get a lot of compliments on it every time I wear it.

I love the style but it's not really wearable. I got it in white and it was extremely sheer! You would need a full slip to wear under it. The hemline in the back is much high than the front. It came just below my knees in the front but the back was well above my knees. It doesn't have any tag to indicate front or back but the skirt has a seam down the middle in the back. It's also has no stretch. Overall I would say it could be a very nice dress in a different color but I will be returning it and looking for something else.

The waste has a stretchy band... So plenty of room. Love it with any type of belt... The arms are not tight. Plenty room in the shoulders... It's a little shorter in the front than in the back... I wear it with a slip... Because it is a little sheer for my taste... I bought it in blue, and in burgundy... You will not go wrong with buying this dress... I bought my normal size which is a large... I am a 36 DD plenty of room for the girls... Can raise my arms... Great dress! Great price!
