🐢 Snail your way to a pristine aquarium!
Aquatic Arts offers a pack of 5 live Tiger Nerite Snails, each measuring between 1/2 to 1 inch in diameter. Known for their beautiful amber shells with unique black markings, these snails are ideal for aquarium enthusiasts seeking a low-maintenance, algae-eating solution that won't reproduce in freshwater. They are safe for all aquatic life and come with a live arrival guarantee.

Was sent 6 instead of the 5 ordered, thanks!
All my snails came alive and well packaged. Though I got striped snails, not the Tiger snails as pictured. But, that didn't matter too much to me, they were pretty cool. Aquatic Arts also sent 6, not the 5 ordered, thanks! sadly, 4 died fairly soon after I got them, then another now seems to be holed up for the past week or so (but doesn't smell dead, so I'm leaving him be). I do have one champ out of the bunch, he's still doing great and very active. I wish I had better luck with snails!

Love the color!
These snail arrived quicker than expected. Though I was expecting them to be bigger. One was about a 1/2 in. & the other 4 are half that. I was worried at first with them being so small because I have large goldfish but they don't seem to be messing with them. Will order again soon.

5 tiger nerite snails
These poor little guys. They were supposed to be companions for our new betta male, & he took an instant dislike to them. I promptly removed them to a small bowl by themselves. My new sand came in, & both the fish & the snails seem much more at home with sand at the bottom of their bowls instead of rocks & glass pebbles. I'm waiting on our now, two tanks, & some live plants. We got seven of these little guys, instead of five. I was going to call our fish "Snow White" even though the fish is blue & red, & the snails "the Seven Dwarfs" till I found out the fish is a guy. So, he is Jewels/Jules, aka Sapphire, & his companion Marimo Moss ball, which he doesn't mind, is named, Gem/Jim, aka Jade. Now, the snails have a new home, but no new names, as yet. I'm hoping the exhibit happiness soon. The plants' arrival should spark up their behavior & make them feel at home. I bought a grass for them, which said it was good for snails.

We were beyond pleased with our order from Aquatic Arts
We were beyond pleased with our order from Aquatic Arts! We live in Alaska so we tend to have very slim pickings. I must admit I was very apprehensive to ship snails all the way to Alaska. I did not want to feel guilty if they did not survive the long trip here. But I decided to give it a try. So I awaited their arrival & on Saturday they showed up. Packed in tight in a sturdy shipping box with heat packs surrounding the container & detailed instructions. I acclimated them & then set them free, along with the additional 2 that showed up in the order. Within an hour all 12 snails had started to venture around their new home. We have happy snails I give David & Crystal 5++ stars on their business ethics, customer service & obvious love for what they do. I would recommend Aquatics Arts hands down.

Pretty disappointing.
Unfortunately 2 were dead on arrival. Pretty disappointing. However, they were packed well and the box was well insulated.EDIT: Two more died a few days later. My water quality is excellent, there's plenty of algae and they're supplemented with algae wafers. Their only neighbours in the tank are RCS. Now only one snail left.

A good mix of small / medium / large size snails
We've only had them a few hours, but these snails brought along their appetites! A good mix of small / medium / large size snails, plus an extra. The snails were well cared for, well packed for shipping, and in great shape. The patterns and colors are so cool, great stock of snails. Like I said, they went right to work on my persistent algae crops, and I suspect will have my tank sparkling clean in no time!Update: Almost 2 months in, and all but the smallest one are thriving. Sadly the littlest snail died last week, but I don't blame the seller for that. I just have bad luck sometimes, but I still have 5 gorgeous snails. They're working hard to cut down on all the algae I have, it's a constant battle that's sure to keep them all well fed.

Excellent quality, excellent service
This was my first time ordering live animals online and I was very happy. I live in Florida so I made sure to arrange my schedule to ensure I would be home for delivery (so they weren't sitting outside in the heat). The critters were packed very well and, although instructions indicated it might take them up to 24 hours to "wake up" from the stress of travel, all of mine were active immediately. I have a 26 gallon freshwater planted aquarium and this is my first time playing with snails in the tank. So far, everyone seems very happy and overnight all the algae growing on the leaves of my plants are gone! I am so pleased with the quality and care taken by Aquatic Arts, I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Attractive little eating machines
I live near a large boring city, and the only thing I can buy here are Mystery snails. And they aren't good quality. At first, I cringed at the price for these (with shipping and all), but these things are so cool! I have no regrets now that I have them. They're attractive little eating machines. They came snuggly warm nestled in insulation with a warm pack. I let them adjust to the water temperature, transferred them to their new aquariums, and they popped right out and went to work.If it's quiet enough, and you listen carefully, you can hear them: "Om nom nom nom..."I have purchased from Aquatic Arts twice, and would again.
