The Hyperflex suit is perfect for swimming in cold pools, bays, or lakes. I haven't put it to test in the surf though.I purchased the Hyperflex wetsuit top to prevent from freezing in our super cold pool but I didn't want a spring suit or full wetsuit. I used the Hyperflex internet store (http://hyperflexusa.com) to verify my size since different manufacturers use different methods to determine size - definitely do this before ordering. The other posts for this product proved extremely useful as well. Although I like to wear an extra large shirt, I bought the large size and it fits like a glove, keeping me mostly warm during my swim.The main body is 1.5mm polyolefin, which provides the main warmth to the upper body. The arms and sides are made of Lycra material providing excellent mobility for swimming. Both materials are soft on the skin. The design and material also prevent rashes from swimming long distances where full wetsuits may.I recommend the product to anyone who enjoys swimming outdoors. The wetsuit top comes with a one year product warranty so save your receipt.

Keeps you warm on those days you don't have too wear a full wetsuit top plus easier to paddle with the Rashard sleeves when surfing.

The shirt provides full wetsuit-like coverage of the front and back chest cavity, with mesh-like arm and shoulder cover. Suspecting it will provide good warmth of the chest and back to you divers. We SCUBA around 50-75' and I look forward to what this shirt will provide in warmth and protection. WARNING: it does fit snugly. I am a size large (chest size about 42) usually and this is not loose on me. (I ordered a large). Getting it on the first time was a challenge, but the shirt does "roll" on well when I figured it out.Appears well made and I just ordered one for my wife. It has similarities of a full wet-suit top, just not as thick. I view this a very good product; it's as advertised to me and I recommend it. A good looking wet-suit shirt and a good buy for the price. Well done.

This is an excellent product. I have worn this over 50 times swimming and have not had any issues with it. It fits well and keeps my torso warm in chilly pool water. I would recommend it and when mine wears out, I'll buy this same one again.

Was warm and comfortable. Had a really bad chemical smell. After wearing it for a month or so every other day, I developed red itchy spots where the shirt touched my skin. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have to do pool therapy almost every day and even during the winter. I was looking for a fleece lined Rash Guard for winter time for when it gets 45 degrees and cooler. even thought the pool is heated sometimes your shoulders get cold and being insulated aloows you to have enough time to get dried off and leave. This shirt helps but is not what I was wanting for insulation and warmth. It's not much better than your typical sun protection shirt you were like the Under Armors and such. I would not buy again,Product is well made and no complaints about quality it just wont keep me for what I was looking for.

I am a swim instructor. Purchased this to keep me warmer during swim lessons. After a few weeks, the bottom seam started coming undone and string was hanging off the suit. It loosened up so it no longer keeps me warm because water gets in from the bottom. Product is not made well. A waste of money.

At first I didn't think the wetsuit shirt was going to fit or actually help keep me warm. The fisrt time I put it on it exceeded my expectations. It firt just right, and it actually help regulate my temperature better than the older style wetsuits.im very happy with my hyperflex shirt.

Excellent quality, just a little tight under the arms, otherwise fits good.

I love it. It helps to keep warm in colder water and no need for sun cream.
