So simple. So effective. It's a game changer for throwing. Best purchase this year. Just wet the Bat Mate, place on your wheel head, place your bat on top and off you throw! It's unbelievably secure. I've struggled with the old clay attachment method with centering especially with very firm clay but the bat just doesn't move. Treat yourself. If you have a wheel head with no bat pins or fancy over the wheel system then you won't regret it.

Why have I been screeing clay to attach the bats to the wheel??? This mat is awesome, no slipping of the bats, no messy wheel head, if bat isn't central is easy to reposition, same with removing a project to let airdry and then continuing to throw at a later stage. Definitely give it a go. I was sceptical, now a convert!!

Amazing bit of kit! Sticks straight onto the wheel and then you place your bat on top. No need for bat pins, or a clay disc. Less mess, less time, less instability. A million percent recommended!

I use this under a bat with a 'cut out' removable section and it works really well - it's expensive but does the job
