It..melted
So I found this to be very lightweight, easy to clean/non-stick, and does transfer heat well-- phenomenal.What I write to warn is that it might not be high heat resistant and/or it is non-suitable for an electric stove. First time using it and I thought that the strange smell was some residue/coating that didn't initially wash off. I was cooking high to medium heat for about an hour. It wasn't until after that I realized that the pan had melted off some black residue in the shape of the bottom design.

Great product for making Vietnamese food
My parents decided to buy this to make some food from back home.This nonstick pan got me in my feels and got me feeling like I was back at home!!
