Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens for NIKON DSLR Camera w/ Advanced Photo and Travel Bundle

At first, I was quite apprehensive about buying the product. Wasn't sure if it would work well with my Nikon D5200 body or not, but after reading some of the Q&As and comments, I decided to take the plunge.For starters, the lens is really quite nice. It has impressive clarity from quite a distance, and the auto-focus works like a charm. To add to the experience, the package that I purchased had more extras than I really needed, but for the price, it was definitely hard to beat. Cost of a similar Nikon Nikkor lens would have easily been about $100-$150 more, but with no extras at all. So, this was quite a bargain.I've posted a few photos for your perusal as well. These were shot in my back yard with the lens fully extended. There is no filtering or Photoshopping here, just straight-forward shots of a bird and a squirrel.The lens adds significant weight to the body, so I would not recommend using without a tripod -- especially if your shooting at the full 300mm. I have a hydraulic-mount tripod that really works well for this lens, and keeps things in place. Lens extends seamlessly with motor drive, and can be set to manual if desired. It also has a MACRO setting, but I have not messed with it much yet. Good guard for sun glare as well.Nice little extras to keep things clean, as well as a protector bag and a sling-style camera case. The case is not too big, but good for some simple gear toting, or for a beginner with minimal equipment.I would definitely recommend this lens for beginner to intermediate level of photography.

For the price it is a good quality lens. Have taken pics and the results have been exceptional.Would recommend to a beginner,like me or to a intermediate.

I don't like that the bag is cross body, it is uncomfortable to carry. The lens and everything else are good quality though and I'm satisfied with it overall.

Love this lens so far. I'm using it on a Nikon D3300 and it all works perfectly. I purchased it to take pictures at football games, but have not used it for that. I tried to snap a few pictures tonight with it. These are basic point and shoot pictures, absolutely no adjustments on the camera. I think it works quite well. The pictures of the moon are the same pictures, I just cropped them to see how far I could crop before it starts to not look good. The lizard is at the highest peak of my house.

LOVE THIS LENS!!! Have taken multiple pictures with it and it works great,pictures are clear, sharp and colorful. I take a lot of wildlife and bird photos and this lens is great for that. Couldn't be happier with the product or the service. Extremely nice people to deal with and I will be a return customer!

It's a little heavy and I have a difficult time using to take clear pictures of my moving kids. but overall it is a great telephoto. the rest of the package is just a bonus.

Everything fit the Nikon D5000 and works well. it was a gift for my daughter and so far she has enjoied using all the parts. the only down side was the remote , the battary that came with it did not work and had to go out and buy other battary to make sure the remote work, and it did. Plus the back pack to carry every works great as well. 5 star for anyone looking for a great deal, just make sure it works with your camera firts so do your reseach first.

This lens is amazing!! The packaging and everything it came with was a bonus as well. This bag is much easier to carry around then the bag that came with my Nikon camera. I researched, watched videos, and compared and this was the best out of all of the 70-300mm lenses for price and accessories. You can tell that the seller cares about the customer and ensure top quality products and service. They even included a personal note in the packaging. I will be buying more from them!*I am am attaching photos that were taken with this lens all at the same birthday party. Thanks to this Lens I was able to get close up shots of the birthday boy and long distance shot of my son and newphew playing in the creek. Lol yes it was a very country party but we are in AL so it's the norm for us;)
